🎥 Highlights: Nigeria Climate Investment Summit
On Tuesday. 23 June, 2026, stakeholders from around the world gathered at Mansion House, London, for the Nigeria Climate Investment Summit (NCIS) with one sole purpose: strategize on how to catalyze green investments into Nigeria.
We had a productive engagement with stakeholders committing to charting a pathway toward Nigeria’s sustainable economic growth that is mutually beneficial to both the country and its development partners in a manner that ensures that growth aligns with fidelity to the environment.
The outcomes of the summit are expected to catalyze the climate finance needed to support the implementation of Nigeria’s environmental and climate policies.

Once upon a time, social media felt… social. You could post a thought, photo, or win and a lot of your friends/followers would actually see it. That's not the case anymore.
The shift didn’t happen overnight but now it’s impossible to ignore. The algorithms have hijacked our feeds.
Instead of showing you posts from people you chose to connect with, platforms now prioritize what they think you want based on what you click, watch or linger on.
Think about it.
You click on a random post about fitness, world events, or some conspiracy theory and suddenly your feed becomes a one-topic echo chamber.
It’s not long before every third post is an ad. What about your friends? Well, they’re buried six feet under in the algorithm graveyard.
Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube are all the same game.
The “social” part of social media is being drowned out by machine-driven interest matching designed to keep you scrolling and spending.
Why? Because your attention is the product. The longer you’re hooked, the more ads they can sell.
Here’s the problem most people don’t realize.
This isn’t just about missing your cousin’s vacation pics or your friend’s business launch.
It’s about losing control over the information you consume and slowly being trained to see the world through whatever lens the algorithm serves you.
If you’re a creator, entrepreneur, or thought leader, the takeaway is clear.
You can’t rely on organic reach alone. You need to own your audience email lists, SMS lists, and private communities.
You need to create content that earns shares and engagement beyond the algorithm’s chokehold. The game has changed.
Social media isn’t dead or on life support yet but the plug is halfway out of the wall.
