Afternoon, I hope all is okay.
I was wondering if any teachers on my news feed would like to engage in helping the young generation regarding the following topics:
- Life choices
- Inconsistency and what it can lead to
- How I broke the barrier
- Gang prevention
After taking some time away from mentoring I'm glad to inform you that my diary is back open for bookings
Over the past two years, I've been traveling to schools in the north of England delivering sessions on gang prevention and talking about how I managed to turn my life around
Everyone has different goals which will take different journeys.
But the thing you need to ask yourself is:
Are you happy with where you are right now? If not, how can we change that?
There is still time to reset and start again. Are you ready?
Today, I visit Manchester University to deliver a talk to the criminology students on how I broke the barrier and to have a debate about gangs.
This is my first time delivering a talk in a university, but it is something I'm excited about as this will help them with their studies
What else could failure teach me?
If the biggest failure in my entire life has led to this opportunity of working with the younger generation, what else could failure teach me?
My knowledge and experience have come from failures in life.
Morning, Hope you had a nice weekend.

We cannot afford to be silent about these issues any longer. It's time to stand together as a community, raise awareness, and protect the vulnerable and young people.
Can I get your attention for 5 minutes to discuss something that could benefit young people
Can we, as teachers and mentors help the younger people who are exposed to vulnerability which can have a knock on effect on many things like grooming selling drugs, and county lines
Drug dealing puts young people and many families at risk of exposure to prison, debt, attacks, and even death. It's a cycle that I feel can't come to an end safely.
This highlights to me that they understand the consequences of their actions, but also that there are many more people who suffer because of their actions.
Setbacks are something we all go through in life.
Recently, I spoke to a year 9/10 group at Essa High School In Bolton about the consequences of committing a crime and ending up in prison. We discussed who suffers the most in such situations.
They explained that going to prison affects:
- The victims of the crimes.
- Your loved ones at home, as they didn't ask to be involved in this.
- Yourself, because the time you spend away from your loved ones can never be recovered.
As a mentor, this is something I want to
In order to improve for the better, can we solve the problems at the system level, which will help them fix themselves?
This will help people with great experience to guide them in the areas where they went wrong.
This is something I wanted to discuss, especially with people in the education system.
As time goes forward, we are noticing that the younger generation is getting more involved in crime, especially at a much younger age than I was.
As a mentor, this is something I want to help with. I also want to try and change the mindsets of the younger people and help teachers with this issue in school.
Here is something I want you to think about:
