Do you think our discomfort is because we are rebellious or is Holy Spirit giving us discernment that we are following & obeying men rather than our King Jesus?
“But none of you should be called a teacher. You have only one Teacher, and all of you are like brothers and sisters. Don't call anyone on earth your father. All of you have the same Father in heaven. None of you should be called the leader. The Messiah is your only Leader.”
- King Jesus in Matthew 23:8-10 CEV
Because we represent our irresistible, loving King Jesus so poorly.
They are rejecting us and our religious nonsense, not Jesus. They haven’t seen a good representation of who He is. ✌️
@reachjulieroys@WheatonCollege Does it matter if we don’t have a connection to Wheaton College? Can anyone sign the petition that wants predators held accountable?
No, I will not sign this petition.
Our Bible worship of an inspired, yet created book is getting out of hand. If we need to rely on @MikeWingerii for our discernment, we are in real trouble.
The current batch of Christians have been so infantilized by our sacred men that we can’t be allowed to delete the Passion Translation ourselves? YouVersion has to do it for us?
Helicopter parenting doesn’t prepare kids for real-world challenges and neither does anyone who thinks they can replace our King Jesus as our Leader & Teacher. ✌️
I fail to see any difference between one person using the Bible to try to get others to agree with their Biblical opinions than another person doing the same.
The only difference is the amount of groupthink buy-in one has over the other. ✌️
Open mic at #SBC26 perfectly illustrated the tragedy of headlines-driven dispensationalism. A pastor used Gen 12:3 to demand a task force defending a secular geopolitical nation-state, uncritically ignoring how the New Testament defines the true seed of Abraham in Christ.
When we trade the substance of the New Covenant for old covenant shadows, we lead our people into folly. The church must reject this hermeneutical confusion. Christ is the sole heir of the promises, and His Church is the Israel of God.
“Shut up so we can keep abusing you!”
- SBC Christian Temple System
It’s not a coincidence that the SBC just voted to silence women & that all the sexual & spiritual abuse of women is just a hoax.
You won’t lose Jesus when He’s living inside of you, so be safe & get you and your kids out.✌️
Completely on brand.
Four years ago: this guy needs to step down and not be nominated for SBC President because he knowingly had a sexual abuser in church leadership.
Now: Let’s elect this guy as SBC president!
The SBC is not safe.
With the poor condition of the Christian Temple System being exposed, let’s consider that wolves are playing offense as their best defense.
According to the same Biblical lists by Paul, many of our leaders aren’t going to enter the King Jesus’ Kingdom.
Now we get to investigate what they’re hiding and where they’re actually leading us to…. ✌️
Do men who blame women for all of their troubles ever need to justify their charges when they teach that it’s their god’s will that women be silent and obey them? ✌️
58 churches over 7 years is a lot less than what Mike Law and AmReformer / CBL / William Wolfe / Megan Basham keep hammering.
It's also a LOT less than 700 churches with a sexual predator on staff, but that narrative doesn't need facts as much as a megaphone.
#SBC26
It smells like the Chief Financial Officer was playing with ministry funds and the animal abuse arrest is the cover for his removal from the ministry.
This way the ministry can expect prayers and sympathy rather than questions about being bad financial stewards of their sheep’s money.✌️
.@rhemabible has cut ties with former pastor and CFO Craig Hagin after receiving what it describes as "credible information" about conduct inconsistent with ministry leadership standards.
The move comes just months after Hagin was charged with animal cruelty and weeks after his wife announced their divorce.

GOD taught us (through His brother James) that leaders & teachers are held to a higher standard than others by GOD.
Accountability is a prerequisite for our King Jesus to lend us His Authority.
An unknown man can enter a church and is given unearned honor, prestige, authority, respect, and loyalty because of his religious title. He can then wield that power & authority over those people. This is not GOD’S authority, but the people’s power & authority that they gave him that he is using.
When exposure and accountability for our misdeeds comes, it is rarely because someone spotted ‘one error.’ We work up to big errors by making a multitude of small justifications. Should a rapist be set free because he got caught during his first rape?
King Jesus’ sheep hear His voice and our Good GOD is not lacking in asking us to treat others as we would want to be treated. When GOD’S corrections and exposures come, it is because we have refused to do things humbly and His way.
When we whine about being held accountable and blame others for exposing our deeds, we are giving them all of GOD’S Authority He has lent us. ✌️
In May, Georgia legislators passed the "Clergy Sexual Abuse Bill," which adds religious leaders to a list of authority figures, such as teachers and coaches, accountable for sexual misconduct. The bill acknowledges the unique position of power that clergy hold and how it can be used to abuse those under them.

If I may? The confusion comes in when GOD calls us to ministry and the boys playing religion tell us GOD isn’t allowed to do what we know He did.
Since we’re not allowed to play the boys game of religion (& are told that GOD is the one who made the mistake) GOD is made to look like an inconsistent jerk. Rather than deal with the all the clutter & confusion, we just lose our faith in the whole hot mess.
After a few decades, Jesus calls us back to Himself. We come back wiser to the games of religious boys. We don’t need the Christian Temple System any more. We already have our King Jesus living inside of us and are therefore more powerful than all the boys combined.
What isn’t of Him will be tested and only the gold & silver will remain. ✌️
Brian has a pup. The fell has not seen one in a while, and the fell has opinions, and so does the pup, and almost none of them are correct yet.
His name is Moss. He is a Border Collie, fourteen weeks old, black and white and entirely convinced, and he has arrived on a Cumbrian hill to learn the oldest job a dog has in this country, which is to move sheep without harming a hair on them, using nothing but position, patience, and the strange ancient power that a collie carries in its eyes.
Because that is the thing about a collie, the intricacy that makes the breed what it is. A collie does not herd by chasing or biting. It herds by "the eye," a fixed, crouching, predatory stare inherited straight from the wolf, the look that says to a sheep "I am a hunter and you will move," delivered by a dog that has been bred for a century and a half to feel the entire predatory sequence right up to the final pounce and then stop, and hold, and never complete it. A working sheepdog is a wolf that has been taught to do everything except the last thing. The control is the whole art.
Moss has the eye. He does not yet have the control. He has, this week, "gathered" a watering can, a wheelbarrow, three hens belonging to the neighbour, and Brian's wife's washing, dropping into the crouch and giving each of them the full ancestral stare before attempting to move it somewhere it did not wish to go.
Brian is not worried. Brian has done this before, more times than he will say, and he knows that the instinct arriving wrong and early is exactly how it is meant to arrive, and that the job now is years of patient shaping, the pup working beside an older dog and an older man until the wolf in him learns the one rule that makes him useful instead of dangerous: everything except the last thing.
Moss gave Doris the eye on Tuesday.
Doris, who has been stared at by better, carried on grazing.
Moss sat down, confused. The first lesson on the fell, delivered free, by a ewe: the look only works on something that believes it. He has a great deal to learn. He is exactly where he should be.
@ChristaBrown777 King Jesus calls you Daughter, Beloved, Friend, Ambassador, Bride, Witness, Representative, Leader, Minister, Teacher, Teammate, and Smarty Pants. ✌️
Team Jesus can’t give you anything, but our Team Leader is irresistible and has already proven He would die for you to keep you safe.
If you want Him, you can invite Him into your heart and ask Him to make Himself comfy. You would be lucky to have the Creator of the Universe be your Mentor. ✌️
