That has nothing to do with Tesla choosing to license something. Sonos is the ONLY non-Apple provider to offer it via some undisclosed partnership.

@ChadMoran @jmwilt21 Wrong. Apple Music app interface is HTML-based, but has extended native app functionality. It certainly does not bypass DRM or licensing. It is calling Apple Music API as an official developer program-registered application. AAC is delivered with L3 widevine DRM.
