@scottwww7@hankrsmith I politely decline to post further due to your own prejudices & bias towards our faith. I only seek for Jesus Christ to be in my life. If you among others prefer to only speak why our church is false & never preach your own testimonies of the Savior, then i am done listening.
@scottwww7@PanictheRaptor@hankrsmith No! And if you were an honest & an actual reasonable person, who was willing to have an actual open mind to hear & not to believe, but to at least listen to the reasons behind our beliefs, then these posts back & forth would mean something.
@scottwww7@PanictheRaptor@hankrsmith You have misunderstood our faith as a whole. For never attending any services, you sure have alot of misinformation surrounding it! You cant know what we believe by being unwilling to hear us out. If the world told garbage about you & you never got to counter, how would you feel?
@scottwww7@PanictheRaptor@hankrsmith The veil in the temple is different than the veil in the New Testament temple. Anyone can go through ours who attends the temple. In the New Testament one, only the High Priest could. The veil is a representation of Jesus Christ himself not a gatekeep as you have misunderstood.
@JBelcourt73@RandomLDS Respect of anothers beliefs is important. But saying only your belief is what's true is ignorant! Someday maybe you'll see that scripture has pointed to a restoration all along.
@JBelcourt73@RandomLDS Jesus came to Joseph before the angel did. The bible says there are false prophets, so is it possible that there are true ones? The chapters in the BOM everyone says was taken from the bible is actually closer in writing to the Dead Sea Scrolls (100+ yrs. later) than the KJV.
@FurkanGozukara BIBLICAL HISTORY EXAMPLES:
-God will bless those who give of their resources just as Paul taught ancient Christians (2 Cor. 9:7) and Malachi taught ancient Jews. (Malachi 3:10)
-Widows mite
-Jesus teaching parables about talents, & ect.
@genXcessive@steven18613@BrettWCain Saying the Book of Mormon isnt true because we can't find their culture is very ignorant! Especially if you move into their lands, bulldoze their ruins, build your own cities, & then say years later where did the Indian tribes ancient cultures come from? Destroyed history!
@genXcessive@steven18613@BrettWCain Another thing that most people never think about is cultural appropriationΒ orΒ reuse of material culture. In other words, when i die, if i left my screwdriver & another group of people came along, found it, & then used it, is it there's? Or was it from the people before?
@genXcessive@steven18613@BrettWCain No its not about steamboats or "empires" at all. Its time, & the earth changing due to earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, fires, you pick. If something as simple as a boat cant be found in 130 yrs, why are you expecting all knowledge about an ancient culture to fall into our hands?
@Latterdaytruth I say this every time when General Conference is here, but I still wish it! It would be awesome if the 12 and 1st Presidency used their talents and came together to do a special musical number. A number of them can sing, play an instrument, or are highly invested in the arts.
@Latterdaytruth I told the friend & his wife about the dream in more detail & we had a good laugh about it! But it also helped me to have a good perspective on what I truly believe. He also spoke in church today about staying close to the Savior π€£.
@GuyInco15542744 Most members dont know this, but church leadership has requested that new missionaries keep it personal & sacred by reading the calls by themselves, praying about them, & accepting the calls before telling someone else. Having large gatherings for announcing is discouraged.
