But can it run Crysis? For Episode 124 we find out if there is an actually good videogame lying underneath the glitz and glamour of Crysis!

@ted_martens@TafferKing451 The original Resident Evil 1 and the GameCube REmake both feature limited saves. You can only save at typewriters, and it takes a consumable item to save. Still a fantastic game to this day and well worth your time!

We return to Resident Evil with Resi 2, considered by many to be the best game in the franchise! Resi 1 REmake was one of our favourite games ever, can it stand up to the hype? Listen in to find out!

For episode 122 we go way back to 1986 and play one of the most important and influential video games of all time: The Legend of Zelda! Is it still worth playing today, or is it just an obtuse and confusing maze? Listen in to find out!

@edmundmcmillen I just played the original Zelda for the first time, and while I knew Isaac was heavily inspired by it, it was still a surreal experience for me. Was Isaac always a ranged shooting game, or did it have a far more melee focus at any point in time?
And most recently for Episode 121 we had Dave from tales from the backlog for one of the weirdest games ever made, Killer 7! Does this make any sense to anyone?

For Episode 119 we got out of our comfort zones and tried a simulation racing game, Gran Turismo 4! Very, very different from the kart racers and f-zero-likes we'd played previously.

Well, I've been very slack posting our new episodes on twitter. So here's a thread with our latest 4 episodes! First up, for Episode 118 we returned to one of the most beloved stealth series of all time and played Hitman: Blood Money!

@TafferKing451 This (good) level design is intimately tied to the idea of 'safe rooms'. Safe Rooms (even better with limited saves) make the spaces between them meaningful to engage with. Resi 1 nailed it in 1996, it's shocking that it's not more widely used.
It took us 3 long years...but we finally played another JRPG. And what better one to do than the landmark of the genre...Final Fantasy VII!

Hey everyone, we're a little late with our FF7 episode. I've been slow to complete it and definitely want to finish it since it's our glorious return to the JRPG since Lunar, which was Ep 38. Gotta make sure I finish it to complain about it. Aiming to release Mon 26/2.
We round out the new year with our annual Mailbag episode, Mailbag V! Thank you to everyone for your fantastic questions, and here's to an even better year 6!
