Who can tell me anything about this little anomaly? Extremely well made, lovely block with a good tight grain, unusual orange/brown stain, stunning fibre insert and well aligned screws which “break a craftsman’s rules” sits perfectly square 👍 Stunning

Can anybody throw some light on this? 1967 Masters, apparently belonged to Mr Gay Brewer who actually won this prestigious tournament that year. How totally cool.
