@IanDunt It's another "dead cat", I'm relatively confident they know this won't be legislated, but it turns the focus away from partygate for a few days.
@SarahKWilliam @schlo5@JuddLegum I'm British, so this is a genuine question - could the literal cost of having a baby in America make you bankrupt if you can't for it?
@DreyfusJames The problem is people, and I include Rowling and the people on the flip side to her, don't apply this level of nuance. They probably all start off well meaning and relatively balanced, but eventually they all just descend into flinging shit at each other
@gillspencer8 @ErictheCollie@RedCollectiveUK I campaigned in Nottingham in both GE's when JC was leader, he came up a lot. The 2017 policies were very popular, but Jeremy wasn't in my experience.
@TVKev The levy you talk about goes directly to support people on low incomes, mainly pensioners, to make their homes energy efficient and reduces their energy bills. I thought you'd be in favour of the Gov't supporting poor pensioners, guess not.
@KatherineEBoyle @iainlee but I don't there's a mainstream audience for it any more. I think #tlna will be last regular/mainstream speech radio show of it's kind, it's a shame, but it had some really special moments and some special energy (when you pre-recorded being abducted by aliens was my fave) 2/
@iainlee I'd imagine for most radio gigs nowadays you need to indulge in vastly oversimplified polarising bullshit that's got the potential to go viral. Amazing how much modern speech radio mirrors online discourse. As a kid in the 90s speech radio was at least in part fun.
@Robbotron Imagine you stepped outside, you look back and there's a subtlety different you in the door way "alright mate, got your delivery, I'll leave it here" he puts the parcel down steps further inside and then boom gone.
I'm trying to get the rights to put on @GamesMaster live show, first choices would be teletext King @mrbiffo for the actual gamesmaster and @Zafarcakes as presenter. Thoughts @futureplc
