So I understand that energy companies' costs have gone up, so their prices have gone up. But if their prices have gone up in line with their costs, then shouldn't they be making the same profit as before? Why are they making more profit than they were? 🤔

The combination of @BBCr4today and @GavinWilliamson really is the worst of British. The old "will you apologise" and "you can't rule out..." chestnuts. Of course he can't rule out further restrictions; it would be idiotic to do so.
