@BaniasLaw@TheJusticeDept Wait wait wait, how did you get an AUSA to argue the TRAC factors are subjective and unwieldy?! Gonna start sprinkling that quote in everywhere
Good luck with your denatz aspirations President @StephenM. Pushing 100 govt attorneys out of public service in less than 2 years is an impressive accomplishment. For any of those former OIL litigators, I'd love to work with you from this side of the v.
The Justice Department office defending President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda has lost roughly a third of its attorneys over the past year, threatening its ability to fend off legal challenges.

The Church supports migrants. We should help members who cannot get immigrant visas under the State Department's policy implemented this year pausing immigrant visa processing for 75 countries, and the Saints in Tonga unable to visit the US because of the travel ban
Leaders from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) visited Salt Lake City this week and met with representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to discuss ongoing efforts to support vulnerable migrants in Latin America.
IOM Director General Amy Pope said the Church’s support helps migrants find jobs and build small businesses through skills training and startup funding.
“Thanks to our collaboration with the Church, we will not only meet urgent needs but also help people rebuild their lives with real opportunities — jobs, businesses, and stability,” Pope said.

Yesterday morning I was in a naturalization ceremony for a client who applied in Dec and is now a US citizen. Yesterday afternoon I was in a hearing with a client who applied for naturalization in October and is being refused an interview. The difference? Where they were born.
@lfcarrasco I have two hearings in DC and VA this week arguing against the swindle. Optimistic the judges will see like a dozen of their colleagues already have that this is unlawful agency action
🚨 ACT FOR ALS UPDATE 🚨

Senate version of the ACT for ALS reauthorization bill just dropped. @SenJohnCurtis@CurtisUT let's get your name added as the first Republican cosponsor!
For Garrett—and every family impacted by ALS.

@ReichlinMelnick Let's wait to say they lifted the pause until approvals start rolling out. But to your point, even after 5 months the hold would still be in place if not for the aggressive, successful litigation against it!
ACT for ALS is a lifeline—expanding access to promising therapies and fueling research. Erin shares what this law means for people like her. But it expires in September. Don’t let progress stall. Ask your legislator to cosponsor: https://t.co/mr09LldAKa
@Aigerimmler@ReichlinMelnick It is a different hold. We have been challenging both the USCIS hold on benefits adjudications for applicants from "travel ban" countries, and the hold on the DV program.
@ElectBlakeMoore@RepBlakeMoore you voted to pass the ACT for ALS in 2021. Thank you! Will you support my family again in cosponsoring the ACT for ALS reauthorization in 2026? We need to pass the bill now! And your name can be one of the bipartisan cosponsors leading the way.

@jkimballcook Someone supposedly taught in a leadership meeting (though in the context of area seventy vs general authority seventy) "an elder is an elder is an elder"
ACT for ALS has transformed the ALS landscape. More research. More data. More collaboration. Real hope. Protect this progress at https://t.co/mr09LldAKa
