@SecVetAffairs @PattyMurray This isn't cutting the VA and this really isn't "pushing" anyone out. The DRP and VERA programs are completely voluntary. Those who made the choice to leave saved those who wanted to stay. It also most likely saved at minimum, hundreds of positions held by veterans. Win win.

@JuanTudreenk @drawandstrike That's possible. I'd be concerned about any negative optics that could potentially impact the administration. I'd much rather see a thought out civil service reform than a knee jerk dismantling. Get the ones out who don't want to work for the people and let's keep it moving.

@elonmusk @DOGE Wait until you get to working levels of the VA. In reality, most of these agencies should be that way once you start peeling back layers of upper level management and get to lower levels of Supervisors and employees.
