Sitting in Waffle House, studying the Jewish dietary laws, and eating bacon. Oh the delicious, ironic freedom we have in Christ.

@jonhurwitz Any updates on a Mr. Miyagi prequel? The source material is so rich and vague enough to allow a whole lot of latitude. Whatever is next. Thanks for Cobra Kai.

My daughter, Lucy, knew who Andy Dwyer, Burt Macklin, & Johnny Karate were before she ever learned about George Washington. Can you help us to make her a big sister by sharing our adoption fundraiser with your followers.

@NikkiHaley I am sorry that Sen. Scott and others have been drawn in by Donald Trump. Of the three candidates left you are by far the best. You speak & I don't have to be worried about what my 10 year old daughter will hear. Thank you for carrying yourself with grace & dignity.

My daughter, Lucy, has loved this song ever since hearing Anne, April, and Donna sing it on Parks & Rec.

So proud to support our niece, Madison Guyton, and the work that she and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society are doing.

@SCBaptist @drtonywolfe I think that is amazing but as a pastor seeking to adopt a child, born because the mother chose against abortion, I think this aid should be made available all ministers seeking to adopt a child.

Speaking through Haggai the LORD says that the latter or future glory of the temple will be greater than the former glory. We see His prophecy fulfilled in Revelation where we read that there is no physical temple in Heaven.

God and the Lamb are the temple.

Glorious indeed!

Who was your favorite pro wrestler the day you turned 13 years old? I’ll start:

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

@ChadOwenBrand Sauron's Sausage Frittata

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

I uprooted 2 trees to replant them. The peach never took, roots weren't even 8 in. It came up easily, ripped from it's source of nourishment. The cypress had taken; 30 minutes to loose it, roots 3 ft. long, it bonded to it's source of nourishment.

How rooted are you in Christ?

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

God is good. Even when we can't see it, can't feel it. Even when things seem dark God is good. He is working things out for the good of His people, the church.

Two first place ribbons at the Special Olympics: 100 meter run and tennis ball throw. Go Lucy!!!!

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

Preaching through Haggai for the next five weeks. Verse 1 through 11 deal with Godly priorities. This question came out of the study, "Do you worship God or yourself?"

Obedience to God is the test of our worship of God.

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

In a world that tells you it is okay to abort a child like my daughter, who has Down Syndrome, this is a positive step towards inclusiveness and representation. My daughter is a beautiful gift from God and it is nice to see companies and businesses value her and others like her.

[The Associated Press @AP]

The first Barbie doll with Down syndrome has been unveiled.

The release of the new design "continues to expand on inclusion in doll play," says Lisa McKnight, the global head of Barbie and Dolls for toy maker Mattel.

@bubbasims @DBradWhitt I addressed this last Sunday when I preached on Godly Priorities from Haggai 1:1 - 10. This is a problem. I wish an organization could compete with Dixie youth baseball by offering the alternative of no Sunday practices, games, or tournaments.

[Shane McDaniel @reverendsensei]

@drtonywolfe I couldn't agree more. Respect and love go hand in hand. We can disagree without being disagreeable.

Welcome to the SCBC Dr. Wolfe.
