Doug Shaw was always front row at my gig. would rip it apart then say it was sick then rip it apart again. envied his playing greatly. Very funny. very smart. For 10 yrs we exclusively spoke in a scotch accent I don’t really remember why. Huge bummer. Lots of people loved him.
