@7Kiwi @campbellclaret Cannot be a manifesto commitment because the individual must be allowed to vote with their conscience on issues such as this. Same as the abortion bill, and many others, important moral issues such as this should be private members bills.

@llewelyn20 I agree - but think that goes for everyone involved in schools atm. I’ve taught for 34 years, and it’s always been a challenging job, but the long hours and late nights are no longer enough to get the job close to done. Teaching is such a small part of what I do now.

@marcportermagee Part of the reason so many Quaker families started businesses - Clark’s, Quaker Oats, Fry’s, Cadburys, Rowntrees to name but a few. Sadly most now sold and not following the same CSR + ethical business practices
