@talkChristianly Another analogy: the ship of the church is driven by the wind of the Spirit via the sail, mast etc. I suppose I’m making a plea for good and godly institutional forms which are fit for the purpose of being driven where the Spirit wills and Jesus leads
@talkChristianly I’m not sure: I return to the trellis-vine analogy - good institutional forms and structures support the life of the vine. Of course, semper reformanda, they must always be (re)shaped by the Spirit.
