@lture_scu55353@ElectronShep I don't believe you need the clock gen. I'm sure they would have called that out on the product page.Make sure you're using a 5V 3A power supply
Installed the DigitalGBS kit from @ElectronShep in my plexi case. Just needed a little modification to fit. Love how much cleaner the look is after ditching the clunky external adapter.
Stellar and XboxHD+ installed in a Ghost case. Recapped the motherboard and DVD drive and replaced the drive belt. 80pin IDE cable upgrade and 4TB hard drive.
For all those Hunters out there searching for a good time, some Vengeance, or a new game to play, I have a wonderful announcement for you!
Vengeance Hunters is done. It is feature complete. We did it team ๐ค๐๐ค
Printed these hand rests for the 8bitdo arcade stick designed by Pixel-Guy on thingiverse. They stick to the frame with gorilla tape and are super sturdy. Can pick the whole thing up by the hand rest. A much needed mod imo.
@DragonsHoardMod JLCPCB has been great for me for quality, speed, and price for bare PCBs. Can't speak to their assembly services since I assemble myself, but friends have used the service and they have been happy.
Playing some Quake 3 on mouse and keyboard thanks to these USB4MAPLE adapters I made. Props to @pcwzrd13 for the very well designed 3D enclosure files ๐ซก
@rain2xx Agreed. This console has a recapped original psu. Hoping the fan cools things down as this console belongs to a streamer and will see frequent 6+ hour sessions.
Xstation/RetroGem console came in for repair. After a long gaming session the console started glitching and then wouldn't boot.
Turns out the GPU lifted from the board in multiple places... ๐
Got everything sorted and fixed, but curious if others have seen this before
@rain2xx I recommended they remove the SD card mount and will be installing the retrofrog 3D printed fan mount.
I let the console run for 5+ hours yesterday and the heat shield was extremely hot to the touch.
