Supposed "theologian" J. D. Hall is getting eviscerated for his interview with Tucker Qatarlson and rightly so. His conclusions reveal an abominable hermeneutic not befitting someone who claims to be a legit theologian.

A text without a context is a pretext.

Tucker and his guest don’t even understand why Christ died on the cross or what it means.

Christ died for our sins. “No one takes my life from me,” Jesus said, “I lay it down of my own accord” (John 10:18).

So the whole “who killed Jesus” debate is already wrong before it starts. You can’t murder a man who chose to die. Treating the cross like a crime scene isn’t defending Christ. It’s insulting Him.

Turning the most deliberate act of love in history into a body in a ditch is not understanding what sin is, what His sacrifice was or His character is.

“The LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).

All.

No ethnicity.

No faction.

Everyone.

There is nothing more radically inclusive than Christianity.

The right response to the cross from believers is not to point fingers but get on your hands and knees and thank Him.

A Mossad operation? How patently absurd! Notice how antisemites are essentially saying that when it comes to Israel and the Jews, the rest of us have no agency. The Joos have special powers to control our brains and we are powerless to stop them. That is one clear sign that antisemites just aren't right.

If you want to play that game a far more credible case can be made that they are the ones under some spell. Why do I say that? Because they are hellhound-willing to believe inherently unbelievable things -- like Israel controls Trump, or Jews control global markets.

So, according to them, we're under the power of the Jews. So whose power are they under? What kind of evil spiritual force could lead them all like lemmings to believe and parrot such absurd claims? What kind?

There's another telltale sign that antisemitism is an other worldly force. It can unite factions that otherwise had very little in common -- and not for the societal good; quite the opposite. You've heard about the horseshoe effect, where left and right unite over a common cause. What might that cause be -- one that can cause people to abandon their previously held, strong ideological beliefs to unite with their once-polar opposites? I've already answered the hypothetical.
