Actually no. Unfortunately you have made an error in your assessment with the “your leader” statement. I am a proud registered independent. On purpose mind you, because, and I admit freely, I have trust issues with both parties. So I like to be able to make my choices freely without being tied to a particular party. You should have asked, I would have told you.

But you were close, except he is not a Democrat, as he will tell you (go on @NYCMayor). No, he is a member of the DSA, not the same thing at all. I wrote an article here about the DSA earlier this evening. I hope you will read it, I hope someone reads these when I release them.

I am referring to prioritizing the city’s needs rather than pursuing global influence through the arrest of a national leader. He lacked the authority to act, and city attorneys could have clarified this in roughly 13 seconds. Instead of addressing real issues as a mayor should, he is engaging in international politics. That is my point. I trust this is enough?
