🟣It’s giving disgraceful. Opaque wheeler dealers and convicted criminals can’t be the face of Zimbabwe on the international stage. Is state protocol no longer a feature of state business? Surely, a visiting state president must be accorded the dignity and respect of meeting state officials or industry leaders of repute? In what capacity is a convicted and controversial person front and centre representing Zimbabwe?

Let us not forget that we all have mistakes for which we need forgiveness and wounds requiring healing. May we all be healed, so that we can bring healing, forgiven so that we can bring forgiveness, reborn so that we can bring rebirth. #Venice
There was & is nothing to hold on to. You have all accepted a one party state. The problem is that you all chose to sanitize ZANU PF's plan for an unprincipled position. You cld have
1. Rejected the delimitation
2. Pulled out of elections after the Voters Roll mess & double candidates shenanigans
3. Rejected the election on 23rd after 40% of urbanites were dienfranchised
4. Resigned en masse after the Tshabangu issue
You had options to make hard choices but you chose the easy way out. It was wrong and it is still wrong!
Thank you for your insights, Prof Mugano @gift_mugano

I reiterate my firm call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. I express my deep sorrow for the volunteers who were killed while distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza. I pray for them and their families.
On the occasion of the inauguration of Senegalese 5th President @DiomayeFaye, I rose on a point of national interest in Parliament to congratulate Senegal for an orderly power transfer. ZANU PF MPs weren’t happy-I was heckled & told it was not a matter of national interest!
#LetFreedomSing I am always appalled by things that political and lawyer elites get exercised about . They ignore rampant abuse, corruption, impunity, and flagrant violation of human rights of women and children whilst preoccupied with stuff that really shouldn't be their focus
Whilst their release is welcome, they should never have been imprisoned for exercising their constitutional rights of protest in the first place. A huge injustice has been done to them. They are owed accountability and compensation. #TravestyOfJustice
I’ve been reading about how dictators use elections to maintain their hold on power.
One researcher says keeping people impoverished is a strategy dictators use to make people susceptible for vote buying.
I think we see that in Zimbabwe especially in the rural areas where even aid is distributed according to your support for ZANU.
Statistics also show that dictatorships that hold elections last longer.
I’m even more convinced now:
Only an uprising can free Zimbabwe.
WHERE IS ITAI DZAMARA?
Today marks the 9th year since Itai Dzamara was abducted.
He is now presumed dead.
On this occasion, may all of us renew our calls for the government to step up efforts to account for his enforced disappearance and also bring the perpetrators to book
Let us pray for peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as in martyred Ukraine and in the Holy Land. May the hostilities that cause immense suffering to the civilian population cease as soon as possible.
🟣Mabvisa?
What happened to the @Starlink receiver that was there?
Yesterday, a ghost came onto the timeline to say it wasn’t there. It had obviously been removed because the cables were still connected. This was pointed out to the ghost.
Now, it appears as though the receiver and the cable have been removed.
It is telling that @ZTNPrime did not deny using @Starlink eveb though they were tagged in the first tweet on the issue. They're normally very active on twitter.
Instead of trying to spin the issue (unconvincingly), why not just do the right thing so that all citizens can benefit from the quality services you want to keep to yourselves?
At least you admit it’s their building.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
The problem clearly isn't available aid for the starving people of Gaza. It is Israel's obstruction of the delivery of that aid -- a war crime. https://t.co/7rxvYg3mhY
@DubekoSibanda Calls for Urgent Political Reforms to Cure Leadership Illegitimacy
Former Binga North representative, Prince Dubeko Sibanda, courageously asserted yesterday that Zimbabwe is in dire need of electoral reforms, in Mucheke Hall, Masvingo.
Dubeko emphasized that the absence of comprehensive electoral reforms would result in the establishment of an illegitimate government and leadership.
The 2023 harmonized elections were deemed unfair and unfree by the Southern African Development Community and other election observers.
Consequently, Dubeko proposed that President Nelson Chamisa, ZANU-PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa, and other stakeholders engage in a dialogue to address the necessary electoral reforms.
Dubeko stressed that the disputed harmonized elections held on the 23rd of August cannot be ignored. A critical dialogue is imperative to resolve this issue.
The respected former legislator of Binga North, Dubeko, who was recalled by Sengezo Tshabangu, expressed confidence in President Chamisa's ability to lead the country and revive its economy for the betterment of all Zimbabweans.
