More than 8 million people unemployed, unemployment above 30%, and close to 60% living below the World Bank’s upper-middle-income poverty line. After more than three decades in power, the answer is apparently another international panel and another seat at the table. Perhaps start by explaining why inequality remains so extreme in the country you actually govern. Fix South Africa before presenting yourselves as the people with the answers for the rest of the world.
