#GoodNews! We recently protected over 1,000 acres that connect with lands owned by the State of California and managed by @CaliforniaDFW as well as federal land managed by @BLMNational and @usbr. https://t.co/PH7A83YZGR
These parcels will eventually be conveyed to the Bureau of Land Management with conservation restrictions in place. With these acquisitions we've conserved 7,463 acres in Mojave Trails. Thanks for helping us protect critical wildlife corridors throughout the California deserts!
MDLT has secured two parcels for a total of 60 acres conserved in Mojave Trails National Monument! Mojave Trails is a vital ecological wildlife corridor that connects nine different wilderness areas along its border with Mojave National Preserve and Joshua Tree National Park.
@SamoFund@CountyVentura This free giveaway of native milkweed is also great timing since tropical milkweed is no longer allowed to be sold in Ventura County because it negatively affects monarch butterflies. Thank you @SamoFund@CountyVentura Agriculture/Weights and Measures on this great collaboration!
The Conservancy has made some big acquisitions over the past few years—more than 1000 acres since 2018! Please consider a donation to enable us to continue connecting & conserving protected spaces in the watershed. #landconservation https://t.co/Qd1C6QhQdb

Coverage on the proposed private sale of the protected #UpperNewportBay land, this time from the @VoiceofOC. Thanks to Susan Skinner & others, the sale was stopped. The new focus is on getting rid of the private fence that surrounds the #PublicProperty. https://t.co/80S1G0scFq
MDLT and @tpl_org are happy to announce the protection of 1,440 acres of Caliente Creek! The property includes rolling, oak-studded hills within the upper Caliente Creek watershed with elevations between 3,500 and 4,600 feet: https://t.co/PUapfYj4aU
Join @nbcbayarea Sunday at 6:30pm PT to learn about protecting Camp Jones Gulch and the last remaining stand of privately owned old growth redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains. We are so excited for this forever partnership with @ymcasf.
The @latimes wrote a great piece explaining the recent #GrandJury report on the proper noticing of #parkland sales using the #BackBay parcel sale to an individual as the example. The recommendation to require the homeowner remove the fence still exists. https://t.co/y9PXHxunT0

While an array of California lands and waters will need to be conserved to achieve the goal, we are focusing attention on three areas for special emphasis in your correspondence... #30by30 https://t.co/ONcATGhEiA
Imagine a Los Angeles that captured its own rain as a first step against floods and water scarcity. Activist @wuddaworld has a great thread here on what that could look like.
