main problem is indian govt don't do its work properly. they are corrupt. they run cleanliness programme, spent billions but on ground u see nothing. all money goes to corrupt politicians bureaucrats.

their is no proper garbage disposal system. hardly dustbins. no fines to stop littering. no awareness campaigns. no civic sense classes in schools.

they clean their private properties and then dump it outside. their is no proper disposal system to take this trash by govt. india garbage problem can be solved if govt do its work. but we have incompetent uneducated corrupt ones sitting in govt.

India is so huge with 1.4 billion+ people with multiple states having totally different languages culture set of people. i myself can't relate to most indians. even skin tone , behavior of people different. it is like 25+ countries clubbed into one. like european union.

bad apples are too many which make whole 1.4 billion look bad. I can't speak for everyone.

western countries need to put strong filters before allowing visa. currently even uneducated ones or very low iq ones coming in with sketchy educational background just because they have money and connections. also illegal immigration. family dependent visas, fake asylum claims. your govt need to high bar in immigration.

Every immigrant need to make familiar with local culture rules, civic sense, assimilation classes before giving them visa. also not bending rules appease in name of color religion culture. setting clear do and don’t boundries. Just deport who don't follow rules.

at the end it is your govt. who allowing these people to enter in country. who allowing this in public spaces. first accountability should be set on govt and police.

I understand what you people facing. Your country population is small. Seeing past data, I am seeing they allowed like 5 million student visas in last 5 years.
Canada population was 37 million in 2019. Many native canadians will be displaced from jobs.

Many times these students families sell their ancestral lands, take huge loans to send them to canada. Most are not for education. They are coming to canada for PR. Agencies and Colleges diploma mills in canada selling them this dream. They also getting scammed.

Canada govt give 50k+ pr each year. In last 5 years your govt allowed 5 million students. All are in canada for PR. Hypothetically if they give everyone PR it will take 100 years. So definitely not everyone will get PR. They already gave everything back in home for canada dream. They will be desperate for pr, do illegal things, crimes.

So, their definitely will be lot of problems . Job displacements, unemployment, crimes.

India population is 1.4 billion. Most lack civic sense. Crime rate high compare to western countries.

Now , your govt allowed very low quality immigrants, students with fake credentials, poor educational backgrounds who definitely will indulge in all civic sense criminal issues.

Most of students you see in canada from india get very low scores in national exams here in india. Here in india these students don't get any decent colleges.
Their families have money so they coming to canada.

With this huge international students population, immigrants why they will assimilate with local population. It is like satellite state. They will speak their own language.

Apart from 5 million students visas their also huge no of work visas, family dependent visas.

Most punjabis now claiming aslym by demanding khalistan. these groups pretty much violent, tribalistic, religious hard to assimilate. they will make their own enclaves, speak their own language, hire in same community like capturing truck industry. Will speak Punjabi not english. With fake asylum even criminals entering in canada.

Solution of all of it, if you allowing immigration, lower immigration number, international students number . Seeing small canada population this number should be very less. Put very high bar on education. Check credentials. ban all degree mills. stop all this asylum claims.
So that very specific cream of talent with very high iq, educational background can enter who will be net positive for canada.

Currently they allowing 500K+ every year. For country small as canada this number also huge.

Your govt not doing its work. Your politicians are corrupt. It is your gov duty to force laws. It your govt duty to maintain quality of immigrants.

I like western culture i myself don't want canada to become third world country.

i live in india still fully support your fight against this to save environment.

Some Indians in foreign countries still carry their poor civic sense with them. There is also a lack of scientific temperament. It is sad even some engineers and doctors involve in this. Just blind faith.

Some will say these idols are made of clay, but they can still contain polluting elements. No one should put them in natural water bodies.

Also, Please understand that not everyone supports this practice.

I am from himalayan state, we don't practice this. It mostly done by indians from southern states. Which make majority part of immigrants.

There are sensible Indians too, and I wish some of them would come forward and help stop this insanity.

You can take some sensible Indians with you who can help put some sense into people’s minds, so they don’t accuse you being racist or anti religion.

just ask local govt to pass strong laws against this. not even clay idols should be allowed. completely ban this practice. some indian govt already banned this and putting heavy fines.

Even in India, local governments are banning this practice because of the pollution and garbage it creates in water bodies. No religious book ask to do this.

If these people are doing this in the U.S. without considering its negative environmental impact, then you have a bigger problem: you are importing very low quality immigrants.

only thing they understand is force of law. your govt should stop appeasing them. they will do more clown stuff in public if you allow this in name of religious freedom. every religious practice should be done in home not public.
