I think one of the drawbacks of horror becoming more mainstream is that you have horror “fans” getting progressively softer. Can’t kill a dog (or animal) in a movie, can’t objectively have the biggest horror icon of the year walking around HHN, etc.
no motivation for hobbies lately hmmmm self isolating a lot lately hmmmm scared of talking to anyone bc i'm scared of being uninteresting to talk to hmmmmmm. i think the month of august is just evil
The real trouble with obsession is that it being this popular means every horror genre tourist has an opinion on it. “She’s a victim!” So was Jason voorhees and Carrie white and Samara from the ring. They’re still horror icons. It seems more misogynistic to deny her icon status.
Os quieren entretener con lo de espacios sin niños para que no nos centremos en lo importante: promover los espacios sin hombres. Hablan alto, molestan, acosan, escupen en la calle, visten fatal, huelen regular, silban, se creen que todo el espacio es suyo
men cause so much pain, so much fucking pain to their mothers to their sisters to their children to their wives and they’re oblivious, they’re absolutely oblivious to how much they have negatively impacted and ruined each woman’s life individually in the household.
