The core setup isn’t decentralized like IPFS. Our goal is to build a large open index of metadata, with the indexing pipeline coordinated centrally. Community users will be able to contribute metadata through APIs, and we plan to use AI-assisted review/moderation to verify and merge those contributions.

At the same time, the metadata itself will be exposed through an open API, so other projects can build on top of it.

We’re also building forum and wiki infrastructure around the index. For example, users can create native Collections that work like structured book lists, while every book in that Collection links back to the same entity with metadata in multiple languages.

So it’s closer to an open, community-contributed knowledge/index layer than a decentralized file-storage network.

I think you’re raising a genuinely serious issue. Based on my recent API-equivalent calculations, the weekly Astra limit on Pro 20x is only around $1,200, and it also seems to get noticeably worse at times. Sol used to give us roughly $2,000 worth(or even more) of weekly usage.

That said, I think it’s probably unrealistic to expect them to publish clear, explicit limits.

@hello_code_ of course NO!!!! AI is still developing way too slowly. I’ll only be somewhat satisfied when we can get nearly unlimited access to the most advanced models.
