WHY I WON’T RAISE MY VOICE ON SO-CALLED GENOCIDE IN DR CONGO

DRC Congo got independence in 1960. It’s a country with the highest mineral deposits in the world estimated at over us$35 Trillion! No other country on earth has such abundance. It is a country teeming with big rivers. It has no desert. Its forests are huge.

Yet, Congolese have decided since independence to kill each other. Its elite live in France, Switzerland, Belgium & South Africa. The Country is divided into tribal fiefdoms that steal & export its minerals to Europe, US, Israel , China & Middle East. Congolese don’t want peace in their country, if they did, they would have chosen Martin Fayulu as its President but they instead chose leaders beholden to foreign cartels.

I do not weep for DR Congo. It is a country steeped in its own stupidity. Let them wallow in their own civil war. Don’t ask me to use my platform to call for end of genocide there for it is self-inflicted.

What happened in Israel on October 7 was a horrific terrorist attack, but what Israel has done everyday in Gaza since is genocide unprecedented in History. No other modern army has deliberately killed women & children everyday. No other army targets Professors, Doctors, Journalists & Police Officers. No other modern army deliberately destroys Universities, Hospitals, Ambulances & Shelters. That the world is just watching & doing nothing is a great moral aberration. That the Muslim Countries are sitting by seeing fellow Palestinian Muslims & their mosques destroyed is an abomination they will answer before Allah in the Day of Judgement: Yawm ad-din!

Russia President Vladimir Putin is one of my true heroes .. However, I don’t understand why he is allowing Ukraine with no navy to continue destroying Russian naval fleet in Black Sea. If an enemy state only damages not sink US warship or US military outpost, US will send hundreds of punishing cruise missiles to the source. Why hasn’t Russia captured or destroyed Odessa?

The death of Marathon World Record Holder Kelvin Kiptum has once again exposed the racial inequality of global stars. Most top athletes are sponsored by NIKE but their worlds are apart. An unknown US athlete who hasn’t broken any records gets millions of us Dollars in NIKE endorsements & is a multimillionaire with life to boot; a well known African who is a record holder gets peanuts & lives a life of poverty & misery. Our athletes have refused to demand equal pay from NIKE & are left holding the short end of the stick! For long, I have implored our athletes to stand up to NIKE & demand equal endorsements with US athletes. But they don’t listen because they are excited being on EABL or Mitsubishi or Safaricom billboards! When will our athletes stand up?
