Monday morning with the Met Office. It's getting hot in here... and hotter. Heatwaves in 2056 will reach 45 degrees in Britain. Unless we invest a whole lot more, a whole lot faster. We know the science. We have the solutions. Now to hold fossil fuel industries to account and #votegreen.

๐ข Polling stations are now open! ๐ข
Want to replace the failing Labour Party and defeat the hateful message of Reform? Get yourself down to your local polling station and vote Green today!
Every vote counts. Make sure your voice is heard ๐
Donโt forget your Photo ID for in-person voting in England!
A big thank you to players and staff at Bath for the hard work and support over two and a half great years
Proud to have had the opportunity to build this wonderful programme, and though Iโm sad to part, itโs the right time to focus elsewhere
Cheering from afar, always #BRTID
@ashnelson08@fhumpires@reidgj 2 vid refs would slow decisions and diminish the experience for viewers which the game canโt afford
The Roos decision was clearly wrong - which sucks because it puts them out of an Olympics and endangers funding - but human error is inevitable in H2H sports video or no
Belgium reap what they sow from that semi-final
Enjoyed watching them so much in the early tournament but no strategy or creativity in that at all (except. Blockmansโ delicious shootout)
So much credit to China, defensively resolute and killing giants everywhere
Having been a sceptic, so impressed by the skateboarding
A sport with so much history that has found a way to grow - and with a crop of young, technically gifted athletes who all have so much character
Long live Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
@Jamesasr89@Willowsacorns@GCP01 Need a full ind. review to set direction for performance, engagement, and commercial viability
No point in a long-term plan without it because hockey lacks funds to attract and retain expertise, and resulting churn causes endless overhaul cycles which burn cash and credibility
Sad to see @Hockeyroos heading out
In my opinion the best combination of flare, tactics and grit at the games and so good to watch - and a baller kit too
Some respect on Chinaโs name, huge performance
@Hockeyroos@9Gem@9Now@StanSportAU Dreadful.
Serious finish from Zhong but what is the point in video Umpires if theyโre going to bottle big decisions
Lots to be proud of for GB men in the hockey - they play a good brand and have us among the worldโs best again.
Lessons? Sure. But I donโt think players or staff did much wrong. Tournament sport is harsh, today it bit us, it sucks, we go again.
I hope they stay the course.
@OneLoveSAW Iโm not sure thatโs the issue people think it is - people still say D instead of circle, 16 instead of free out, etc
Not relaying a deliberate foul is a misstep, but no bigger than we see on the BBC / TNT, and letโs not forget reviews exist for umpires missing things live
Harsh criticism @OneLoveSAW, itโs annoying but the olympics requires a lot of cross-sport / culture โmaking it workโ for events to get coverage
Suspect the number of โhockey literateโ people capable of solo comms on live action is low and we are probably undervaluing his skills
Ten minute yellow for the #hockey commentator on @eurosport / @discoveryplusUK for the random terminology he is using. Itโs not much to ask a commentator has some basic professional competency when there are perfectly well qualified alternatives available!
@RachArnold@Oli_Leis@UniofBath@LeeJMoore1 If your time allows and youโre willing to have someone ask a lot of (potentially stupid) questions, Iโd be very keen to buy you a coffee and learn about your work while youโre here in ๐
Fascinating research into the minds of goalkeepers & how we perceive the world differently! Brilliant research being conducted by @DCU@DCUSport I'd imagine it could be said for all keepers across different disciplines ๐งค @chrisocfl @GAAGKCOACH https://t.co/KCgYBdr7Q5
