@cjdoran11@lsferguson Please know the truth and not the uneducated rants. They pay into soc sec, + they pay into their pension out of their checks for 15-30 years. Private sector jobs like Teachers, nurses, utility workers, unions, etc. get pensions as well. Should we remove those?
@LelszJacki62759@lsferguson@DOGE They do a 401k it’s called TSP, yes those employees who work for years and become vested over time get a pension (which they pay into 15,20, or 30yrs. Teachers, police, firefighters, nurses, utility workers, and union members receive pensions . Stop those too?
@lsferguson They pay a percentage of their paycheck into this fund. Some have paid 15-18 years into this fund. No not a 100% are on a federal pension plan you have to be vested over time, and in some cases is reduced due to soc sec.
@DineshDSouza Plenty of government employees who make less than the private sector, who have served their country & work hard. To lump everyone into the same group is disrespectful. Most will say they are for finding the fraud and abuse, but don’t disrespect those who legitimately work.
