Today something magical happened. I had a black toenail (50 miller damage) but after 16 miles running in the Cairngorms it now looks completely normal. Never had this happen before! 😁
@sharmanian OTOH I now have much easier access to a wider variety of music - and more ways of discovering music I might like - than when I lived in a small town in the Highlands in the early 90s. Teenage me would've swapped in a heartbeat. I still listen to full albums nowadays.
@RndmForestRunnr The are no better filings. I'm just glad they're seasonal otherwise I'd be in no fit state to run at all. Although a mince pie flavoured gel/bar would be a game changer!
@TaritTweets@scotathletics@UltraRunDMC@yhrfpod Smashing event @TaritTweets and everyone who helped to put it on. Must have been a cold, early start and a long shift but some amazing performances and many runners and crew having a great day together 👏👏👏
THREAD 1/11: Now here's a story. Back in the 90s, along with lots of teenagers in Cornwall, I started going to raves & listening to hardcore and drum & bass. Here's me and my mate Ollie after a long night (Helter Skelter, Milton Keynes, 97...). And yes that is a high viz jacket.
@teuteuf One of the things I love about this is that, unlike Wordle and Worgle, it is actually possible to solve it in one guess using knowledge alone without luck being a factor. It's great, congratulations; you deserve a Ko-Fi 🙂
I'm on a two day agile course just now and the tutor sounds exactly like Andy Zaltzman. Accent, tone of voice, phrasing; the whole shebang. Still waiting on the pun run.
Aleksandr Sorokin has run 100 miles in under 11 hours and is still going in a 12 hour race in Israel.
Sub 6:30/mile for 100 miles!
