A candidate with –40 marks in Neetpg can become a specialist doctor in this country, yet Foreign Medical Graduates who have already compensated for their online classes, cleared the FMGE and are diligently completing internships are being burdened with new superimposed guidelines every single year since COVID.
The irony is undeniable: COVID struck in 2020–21, but even today @NMC_BHARAT continues to publish guidelines citing “COVID online classes” as if the pandemic were ongoing. This is not regulation it is harassment on FMGs.
@medicaldialogs@educationtimes@MoHFW_INDIA
The new @NMC_IND rule affecting thousands of #FMGE students raises serious concerns
Article 14 – Equality before law
• Legitimate Expectation Doctrine
• Force Majeure (#COVID situation)
Students studied online during a global pandemic, not by choice
@official_afa_@JPNadda
Isn’t it a mockery of the system @NMC_BHARAT to post this clarification after 5–6 years of COVID, when even your lawyer itself denied any clarification in court?”
We, FMGs, urge the ANDHRA HIGH COURT to take prompt action regarding the inconsistent statements made by @NMC_BHARAT in court versus their actions in ground.

Result: All India Rank 2
Status: No seat available
Imagine not giving a seat to someone who ranked 2.
And we’re talking about healthcare. This has to be the most pathetic system to exist in any country. #Reservation

Chandrababu Garu, isn’t this an utterly disgraceful government? How can you justify unleashing the police on students who have completed their medical education abroad? Despite clearing the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Examination as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines and completing their internships here itself, why is your government refusing to issue them Permanent Registration (PR) numbers? This is just a procedural formality. Why are you harassing them by deliberately withholding it? Is this how governance is supposed to function?
Is it your policy to attack those who question your mistakes with the police force? For the past year, you have been discriminating against these students, exploiting them in the name of internships and forcing them into prolonged unpaid labour to benefit private medical colleges. Isn’t it a fact that you are intentionally denying them PR numbers to serve the vested interests of private institutions?
Parents have sold properties and taken loans to educate their children abroad with the dream of seeing them become doctors. Those students worked hard, completed their courses and returned with hope. But your government is treating them like outcasts, pushing their careers into darkness. How fair is this injustice? Isn't it clear that your government’s aim is to demoralize these students?
When our government was in power, we worked hard to ensure that students would not need to go abroad. We initiated 17 government medical colleges with 2,550 new seats and five of them were already operational. The remaining were progressing rapidly. But after coming to power, your government stalled all of them. Is there any other instance in the country’s history where a government rejected seats allocated by the central government? Yours is the only one.
For the sake of your corruption, you are plotting to privatize those colleges. You even wrote back to the NMC refusing the seats sanctioned for Pulivendula Medical College, destroying the future of countless students.
Now the very students who opted for foreign education to reduce costs and completed their degrees with immense struggle are being harassed by denying them PR numbers. Worse, when they question this injustice, you send them to police stations. What kind of deep-seated grudge do you hold against these students and their families, Chandrababu?
I demand that your government immediately issue relieving orders to all students who have completed their internships and grant Permanent Registration numbers to all candidates who have cleared the FMG exam strictly in accordance with NMC guidelines.
🚨 DOCTORS DESERVE DIGNITY — NOT DETENTION 🚨
Today, we stand not just in solidarity with our Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) — but in outrage at the way this govt is crushing merit with cruelty.
🩺 These are qualified doctors who cleared national exams.
But instead of recognition, they are forced into 2-3 years of unpaid internships —
 Against NMC rules
❌ Against logic
❌ Against humanity
👉 ఇది internship కాదు…
ఇది mental torture. ఇది modern-day bonded labour.
👮♂️ On Doctors’ Day, while the world thanks doctors…
This govt sends police forces to lathi-charge peacefully protesting FMGs.
🪧 Banners removed
🎓 Students detained
🔇 Voices silenced
Even the British never went this far.
This is not negligence — it’s calculated exploitation.
💰 The Real Agenda?
•Scare FMGs to suppress their voice
•Boost demand in local private colleges
•Sell seats for crores 💸 while Andhra’s bright students suffer injustice
Rod for doctors, red carpet for seat-sellers — is this your “good governance”, Kutami @AndhraPradeshCM garu & @APDeputyCMO garu?
🇮🇳 FMGs are not business obstacles.
They are India’s future doctors — sons and daughters of this land.
They deserve dignity, not delay.
️ To every FMG student:
Mee paina paddina pressure ki meere samadhanam.
We stand with you. We fight with you. ✊
This is not just a protest —
It’s a movement for justice.
⚠️ Let’s call it what it is:
🩸 An attack on doctors
⚖️ An insult to merit
💔 A disgrace to democracy

💬 Voice for the voiceless. Fight for the future.
Not sure why everyone is getting so emotional.
It's very simple if you set aside your feelings for a while and think rationally.
Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Cosmetology, Physiotherapy, Clinical Nutrition, Reiki, Energy Healing, Yoga, Acupuncture, and Clinical Pharmacology practitioners are not doctors.
National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians in India, to individual lives and communities in memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, physician and the first Chief Minister of West Bengal.
The above are not Physicians/ Clinical Doctors
That doesn't mean quacks cannot celebrate their practices. They can.
National Ayurveda Day, is observed on 28 October every year in India and worldwide on the occasion of the birthday of Dhanvantari, the Hindu god of medicine. Ayurveda is a pseudoscience and that's why it is celebrated on beliefs and not evidence.
World Homoeopathy Day is observed every year on April 10 to commemorate the birthday of Samuel Hahneman who invented the nonsense.
National Beautician's Day is celebrated on June 26th each year. It's a day to appreciate and acknowledge the work of cosmetologists, stylists, and beauticians. Saloons give free beauty packages during this time.
World Physical Therapy Day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physiotherapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, and independent. This is observed on 8 September.
Now in future anyone wants to celebrate Doctors Day, make sure you are a doctor first. For others, there are specific days where you can celebrate yourself or your family.
Now please stop crying. It's embarrassing.
The behavior of the Andhra Pradesh police is utterly brutal. It's heartbreaking to see doctors sitting on the roads, peacefully demanding their rights.
Despite completing their internships, the APMC registrar is still refusing to issue permanent registration, even after the NMC has served a notice to APMC.
Now, police personnel are forcibly removing these doctor for demanding what is rightfully theirs.
Such a shameful act.
@YSRCParty@ysjagan kindly help 🙏, as current government has failed to help them despite repeated efforts.

In this country, if you demand justice, you are forcefully silenced.
FMGs from Andhra Pradesh, after completing their internships, have been denied permanent registration by the APMC Registrar for months.
And now, look at what's happening when someone peacefully raises their voice, police force has come. They've been on a hunger strike for the past 36 hours.
Let's not forget, today is Doctors' Day and this is the condition of doctor's in India.
