The Budget Implementation Act gives ministers the power to exempt specific persons, companies, or projects from being bound by all Acts of Parliament, with the exception of the Criminal Code. This change would make them literally above the law.

What concerns me is that this is not new.

Since Carney became Prime Minister, this has been happening sector by sector.

I have flagged this before in all these bills:

Bill C-2 centralizes discretion in border control, information-sharing, and enforcement, reducing the role of courts through administrative decision-making.

Bill C-5 consolidates federal override authority in economic and infrastructure matters, limiting external adjudication once projects are designated.

Bill C-8 allows ministers to direct telecom providers to suspend services or disable equipment by order, without a clearly defined appeal process.

Bill C-9 redefines hate, exposing pastors and faith leaders to potential legal action for preaching traditional beliefs, with decisions driven by ministers.

Bill C-10 reorganizes modern treaty implementation by shifting oversight and administration away from courts and to the government’s ministers.

Each bill focuses power within a specific sector.

Bill C-15 does something even broader. It generalizes this model across government.

Now is the time for Canadians to start asking questions.

What’s even worse is that the US is in a MILITARY ALLIANCE with the very countries attacking us via the EU. As @VP @JDVance noted earlier this year, this contradiction cannot continue. The nations of Europe cannot look to the US for their own security at the same time they affirmatively undermine the security of the US itself through the (unelected, undemocratic, and unrepresentative) EU. This fine is just the tip of the iceberg. As I mentioned to every European leader I just met at the NATO Ministerial Meeting in Brussels, the EU’s support of the Communist and anti-American regime in Cuba is another striking example of the EU affirmatively undermining US security while the vast majority of its member states look to the US for their own security via NATO. Under @POTUS @realDonaldTrump, @vp @JDVance, and @SecRubio, the time for games is over.

Years ago, when I warned that Canada was heading toward decline, many dismissed it as fear-mongering and “conspiracy.”

But time has a way of proving who was sounding the alarm and who was asleep at the wheel.

The RCMP’s newly released Whole-of-Government Five-Year Trends Report confirms what many of us already knew, that our institutions are losing public trust, inflation and inequality are deepening, and the social fabric that holds this country together is beginning to tear.

We’re now hearing even the Prime Minister and former Bank of Canada officials quietly prepare Millennials and Gen Zs for an austere future. One where home ownership becomes a dream of the past, replaced by government-owned rental blocks.

If this trajectory continues, Canada could face food insecurity, civil unrest, and the kind of instability no democracy should ever invite.

It’s time to tell Canadians the truth.
We cannot rebuild trust by hiding from reality.

The next generation deserves honesty, and leadership that prepares, not pretends.
