So, let's blame the product and not the choices of the user WHO DIDN'T FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. I don't advocate for Feel Free (trash). However, people that CHOOSE TO ABUSE do not get to blame the product that WAS LABELED! Do some research !#KeepKratomLegal

Mac: "This is not about demonizing pain patients."
Me: When I say I don’t support the prohibition of anything that’s currently on the market, it’s because of the demonization of chronic pain patients, which is the world I have lived in for 20 years. We need sensible regulations.
Thank you @CMerandi and @ibdgirl76 for being so supportive of the Kratom community over the years. I caught the end of your TikTok live and heard your views about 7OH. There are so many of us who feel the same. I don't personally use it, but I know some people in pain who do.
Whether you support banning a substance or not, research should come first. It's difficult to make evidence-based decisions when the rules make that evidence harder to obtain. Interesting perspective.

This is Kratom advocacy in action! 💪 Venus (@siennagsd) and her mom spent the day on Capitol Hill in Washington DC talking to reps and aides about natural Kratom. Our voice matters, and it truly makes a difference.
For years we've been told kratom has "no medical value." Now the NIH and FDA have cleared a human clinical trial of mitragynine the primary alkaloid in kratom as a potential treatment for opioid use disorder. Interesting timing while some states continue pushing bans.

I've never used 7OH. I've never advocated for it.
Yet I've spent months being labeled "pro-7OH" simply for allowing conversations and refusing to demonize chronic pain patients.
If you're curious where I actually stand, this explains it.

Mitagynine now has IND status. Listen to the Kratom Science Podcast interview with Dr. Chris McCurdy and Dr. Brian Pearson from 2022. Dr. McCurdy addresses the "ugly elephant in the room" about drug development and the plant still being available https://t.co/noFAvMt142
That’s easy to say until you’re one of the chronic pain patients who lost access to FDA-approved treatment because doctors became afraid to prescribe it. Government pressure left countless patients behind. For some of us, Kratom provided relief when the system failed us.
Headed to Washington, DC Tomorrow! 🇺🇸
Bookbag Packed and ready!
Tomorrow my mom and I are heading to Washington, DC to share our plain leaf kratom stories and speak up for something I care deeply about.
Wish me luck! 💚
