For some time, a deep burden has been growing in my heart.

As a Jewish believer in Yeshua, I cannot remain silent when I hear Christians claim that God is finished with my people – that Israel failed, the church took its place, and the promises God made to us no longer mean what they plainly say.

I came to faith in Yeshua without ever reading the New Testament. It was through the Hebrew Scriptures, particularly the book of Isaiah, that I recognized my Messiah.

When Yeshua taught, the New Testament had not yet been written. When Paul, Peter, and John appealed to Scripture, they pointed their readers back to the Hebrew Scriptures. The Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms were the authoritative Word of God to them, revealing His character, His Messiah, and His plan of redemption.

How, then, can such ignorance of the Old Testament exist among those who claim to follow Yeshua?

After presenting the overwhelming evidence from the Hebrew Scriptures in The Israel Decree, I was told by some that it was not enough. They wanted proof from the New Testament – from the words of Yeshua and the apostles themselves.

That challenge became deeply personal.

This time, I decided to appeal not only to the world – whose biblical illiteracy I can understand – but also to those so-called followers of Christ who cast aside the Old Testament while imagining that the New Testament reveals a different God with a different character and nature.

The God of the New Testament is the same God revealed in the Old Testament. He does not change. His character does not change. His nature does not change. And His promises do not change.

This challenge led me to focus on two central questions:

▪️ What does God’s overall plan reveal about His unchanging character and nature?

▪️ What do the writings of the New Testament actually teach about Israel and the church?

If God could cancel His promises to Israel because of our failures, how could anyone trust Him to remain faithful despite theirs? This is more than a debate about Israel, the church, or Bible prophecy. It concerns the very character of God.

My people have failed Him many times. He has never failed us. He preserved us through centuries of persecution, returned us to our ancient homeland, and continues to unfold His promises before the eyes of the world.

Israel has not been replaced, rejected, or forgotten.

And this burden upon my heart has now become something much greater…

Jehovah the Almighty God made everlasting promises to this very specific group of people—promises that He declared He would always be faithful to even when the Jews would be less than faithful to Him.

The Jews do not get everything right in matters of morality and truth. Of course not. But guess what? Neither does ANY other group on earth.

We all fail.
We all fall short.
We all get things wrong.

(Note: I can promise you this, though. The Jews get FAR more right in matters of morality and truth than a tremendous number of professing “Christians” do. That’s a fact. The Jews have so much wisdom they could teach you if only you’d be humble enough to listen).

But with the Jews specifically, God has sworn that for the sake of HIS GREAT NAME He would never allow His people to be completely destroyed. He has sworn that He would always remember the covenant He made with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And He has sworn that despite the fact that the Jews would be driven from the land on two separate occasions on account of their disobedience, God would on both occasions bring them back to the land of their ancestors, restore them once again as a nation in the last days, and that He would be with them to defend them against all His enemies.

Jehovah does this, once again, for the sake of HIS GREAT NAME. Jehovah does this to prove to all the world that HE IS GOD—that He is the One and the Only True God.

Jehovah does this to prove to all the world that Allah of Islam is NOT God. Allah is just Satan masquerading as God, and he (that wicked dragon) will continue to rage against God’s chosen people and seek their destruction.

But no matter what anyone says, no matter what anyone does, no matter what armies of hell are gathered against Israel in these the last days—you will ALL fail. You will ALL lose. You will ALL be defeated.

Because when you fight against Israel, you’re not picking a fight against flesh and blood. When anyone dumb enough picks a fight with Israel, you pick a fight with the Almighty Power who is DEFENDING Israel.

So go ahead, children of the devil, gather your armies of darkness together!

Come, Muslims!

Come, Anti-Zionists!

Come with everything you possibly have! Come up to the battle of the One Great God!

It will never be enough.

It would have been ridiculous for Jesus to simply walk around shouting, “I am God!” and expect everyone to understand what He meant.

Think about it: How would people have reacted? “How can God become a man?” They would not have understood the mystery of God becoming flesh.

And look at the family and circumstances Jesus came from, not a royal palace, not a wealthy household, not a family surrounded by status and power. He came in humility. He had no riches to impress people with and no earthly status to make people believe His claims.

So Jesus didn’t need to walk around holding a placard saying, “I AM GOD.”

His actions spoke for Him.

Before the Pharisees were looking for ways to kill Him, they had already seen what He was doing and understood the implications of His claims. They accused Him of making Himself equal with God.

The people also recognized that Jesus taught differently. They said He taught “as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”

Jesus didn’t need to say, “I am God” every five minutes. His words, works, authority, and actions were revealing His identity.

Look at what He did:

• He forgave sins. And the scribes immediately asked, “Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

• He didn’t speak like the prophets. The prophets commonly said, “Thus says the LORD.” Jesus repeatedly spoke with His own authority: “But I say to you…”

• He spoke of His commandments. He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

• He exercised authority over nature. The wind and the sea obeyed Him, leaving His disciples asking, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

• He raised the dead. He didn’t merely pray for someone to be raised; He commanded the dead to come forth. Lazarus heard His voice and came out of the tomb.

• He claimed to give eternal life.

• He said, “I am the resurrection and the life.”

• He accepted worship.

These are not the ordinary claims and actions of a mere human being.

And this is the part I don’t understand: How can you read all of this and still demand, “Show me where Jesus said, ‘I am God, worship Me’?”

The Pharisees were already reacting to what Jesus was saying and doing. They understood that His claims were extraordinary. They saw the humanity before them, but they also encountered someone who exercised divine authority.

Jesus didn’t need to carry a placard.

He revealed Himself through His words. His works. His authority. His power. His claims.

The clues are all over the Gospels.

Jesus is God in the flesh. Roger that! 🫡

In Revelation 13:18, the apostle John recorded the mark of the beast using three Greek letters: Chi, Xi, and Stigma, written as χξς.
What makes this visual comparison so chilling is how closely those ancient characters mirror the Arabic phrase Bismillah, meaning "in the name of Allah," paired with crossed swords.
If a 1st-century apostle was shown modern badges of allegiance worn across foreheads and right arms, this is remarkably close to what he would have seen and penned. 📷
Typologically, the parallels are impossible to overlook. Scripture warns that the spirit of the antichrist explicitly denies both the Father and the Son, changes set times and laws, demands total submission, and beheads those who refuse to bow.
The warning remains clear. Be discerning, stand firm in truth, and keep your faith anchored in Jesus Christ alone. 📷

The so-called pope says if you want war you are not a Christian.
Then scratch King David off the list.
Psalm 144:1 — “Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.”

That is not a footnote. That is Scripture. That is my name.

He said we cannot believe in Jesus and promote war. He said God does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war.

So David was wasting his breath. So Moses was lying when he said “The LORD is a man of war.” So Solomon was confused when he wrote there is a time of war and a time of peace.

So the Roman centurion Jesus praised should have laid down his sword and gone home. So John the Baptist should have told the soldiers to quit instead of telling them not to extort.

So the Lord returning in Revelation 19 on a white horse, judging and making war in righteousness, fails His own test.

This man is not the referee of who belongs to Christ.

Wanting blood is sin. Wanting evil restrained is not. He smashed those two together on purpose so he could lecture America and Israel and unchurch every believing soldier, every chaplain, and every mother on her knees asking God to bring her boy home.

Peace at any price is not holiness. It is other people’s children paying for your piety.

A Christian is not the one who agrees with Rome this week. A Christian is a sinner saved by the Lamb who was slain and the Lion who is coming back.

I will take the Book over a balcony sermon.

Why does the Feast of Tabernacles immediately follow Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement?

Because Tabernacles foreshadows the Messianic Kingdom, when God will once again “tabernacle” among us:

“Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men” (Revelation 21:3).

What is the word of God teaching us?

Just as you cannot get to Tabernacles without first passing through Yom Kippur, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God without first receiving atonement.

We must receive the forgiveness of sins provided by the Lord Yeshua if we are to have a share in His Kingdom.

Have you ever considered the incredible picture of Jesus in Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement?

In the Torah, God established a sacred day when the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies, the most holy place in the tabernacle. Only one man, only once a year.

The high priest, beginning with Aaron, would enter God’s presence with the blood of a sacrifice. He would first make atonement for himself and his household, and then for the people of Israel. The blood would be sprinkled according to God’s command as an offering for sin.

Think about it. The people couldn’t atone for their own sins. They needed a mediator. They needed a high priest. They needed the blood of a sacrifice. And yet, year after year, the sacrifices continued. Why?
Because these sacrifices pointed forward to something greater. To SOMEONE greater.

What the high priest of Israel could only do temporarily, Jesus accomplished once and for all. Aaron was a sinful man who needed atonement for himself before interceding for the people. Jesus was sinless.
Aaron entered the earthly Holy of Holies with the blood of animals. Jesus entered the true heavenly sanctuary, offering not the blood of goats and calves, but His own precious blood.

Today in Israel, and ONLY in Israel, on Yom Kippur everything and I mean EV-RY-THING stops. No one works. No one drives. Phones are turned off. People walk to the synagogue wearing white. For one day out of the year, people of bar mitzvah/bat mitzvah age—religious or not—fast. There are no cars on the road, which is why we’re able to photos like this on Tel Aviv’s busiest highway. Kids on bikes take over every neighborhood. To me, it’s a picture of His children experiencing true freedom.

The Bible says we cannot atone for our own sins. Not through our good works. Not through doing religious things. Not through trying to be good enough.

We are sinners, and we need a Savior.
God, in His love and mercy, provided what we could never provide for ourselves—Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew), the Jewish Messiah, the spotless Lamb of God. The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob sent His son to die in our place, the perfect sacrifice for us.

On this Day of Atonement, I pray whether you’re Jewish or not—to consider the seriousness of sin, the holiness of God and the need for forgiveness. We no longer need an earthly high priest to offer sacrifices for our sins. Forgiveness is at your fingertips. All you have to do is ask for it.

They can argue about theology all day. They cannot argue with a tunnel cut through the rock of Jerusalem 2,700 years ago.

Hezekiah did not write a slogan. He dug from the Gihon Spring to the Pool of Siloam so the city would still have water when an empire came to break it. The book recorded it. Then the stone recorded it, in ancient Hebrew, including the moment two teams of workers met in the middle inside the mountain.

That is not a metaphor and it is not a later nationalist myth. It is engineering in the City of David, under the Temple Mount ridge, in the same place the same people are still told they arrived as strangers.

The argument against Jewish roots in Jerusalem has to step over the water, the inscription, and the map. Most people never do. They just repeat the slogan and keep walking.

WILL THERE BE A THIRD AND FOURTH JEWISH TEMPLE?

Here is a remarkable problem:

Ezekiel’s future Temple complex does not fit on today’s Temple Mount.

The present Temple Mount covers approximately:

36 acres.

But on the traditional 500-reed reading of Ezekiel 42:15–20, Ezekiel’s sacred enclosure would cover roughly:

630 acres.

That is about 17½ times larger.

36 acres today.
630 acres in Ezekiel.

That is not a minor architectural difference.

It may be an important clue that Scripture describes two different future Temple settings.

A TEMPLE BEFORE MESSIAH RETURNS

Daniel writes:

“In the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.”
Daniel 9:27

For sacrifice to be stopped, sacrifice must first be occurring.

Jesus then points directly back to Daniel:

“When you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place…”
Matthew 24:15

Paul adds that the man of lawlessness:

“sits as God in the temple of God.”
2 Thessalonians 2:4
And John is told:

“Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.”
Revelation 11:1

The surrounding context gives us Jerusalem and 42 months.
Notice the progression:

Daniel: sacrifice.
Jesus: holy place.
Paul: Temple.
Revelation: Temple, altar, worshipers, Jerusalem, 42 months.

This is what Christians commonly call the Third Temple.
The Bible never uses that number. It is simply shorthand for a Jewish sanctuary existing after the Second Temple and before Messiah’s kingdom.

AND THIS IS NO LONGER PURELY THEORETICAL

No Third Temple is currently under construction.

But preparations associated with future Temple worship are real.

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem continues preparing sacred vessels, priestly garments, and other elements connected with renewed Temple service. It has also clarified recent speculation about the red heifers: an earlier burning was only a practice exercise, while several heifers remain under evaluation.
Jewish worship on the Temple Mount has also become more visible in 2026, including expanded use of prayer materials and public prayer in circumstances that would have been highly restricted in previous years.

None of this proves Daniel’s seventieth week has begun.

Prophecy calls for watchfulness, not date-setting.

But after nearly 2,000 years without a Jewish Temple, renewed discussion of Temple worship is no longer purely hypothetical.

THEN COMES JACOB’S TROUBLE

Jeremiah describes an unprecedented future crisis:

“It is the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.”
Jeremiah 30:7

Daniel echoes it:

“There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation.”
Daniel 12:1

Jesus uses almost identical language:

“Then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world.”
Matthew 24:21

Jeremiah.

Daniel.

Jesus.

An unparalleled crisis centered on Israel and Jerusalem, followed by deliverance.

ZECHARIAH SHOWS WHY THIS IS STILL FUTURE

Zechariah says:

“Two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it.”
Zechariah 13:8
Then the surviving third is refined:

“They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘YHVY is my God.’”
Zechariah 13:9

And the prophecy continues directly into chapter 14:
Jerusalem attacked.
The nations gathered.
YHVY goes forth to fight.
His feet stand upon the Mount of Olives.

Zechariah 14:1–4

That complete sequence has never occurred.

Neither Antiochus IV nor AD 70 fulfilled it.

The Holocaust was an unspeakable catastrophe, but it did not culminate in the full Zechariah 13–14 sequence of national refining, YHVY’s intervention, and His feet standing upon the Mount of Olives.

That is why the futurist reading understands Jacob’s Trouble as still future.

DOES THE TANAKH REALLY REQUIRE TWO FUTURE TEMPLES?

This is one of the strongest Jewish objections.
A Jewish reader can reasonably argue:

Daniel’s desecration prophecies were fulfilled in ancient history, while Ezekiel 40–48 describes the future Messianic Temple. Why introduce another Temple between them?

So leave the New Testament aside for a moment.
Daniel 12 itself gives us:

Sacrifice.
Abomination.
Unparalleled trouble.
Israel’s deliverance.
Resurrection.

Daniel 12:1–2, 11
Antiochus IV did not complete that sequence.
Neither did Titus in AD 70.

Zechariah likewise points to a future crisis culminating in YHVY’s direct intervention at Jerusalem.

The Tanakh itself therefore points toward a future climactic period involving Israel, Jerusalem, sacrifice, desecration, national refining, divine intervention, and deliverance.

The New Testament does not invent that expectation.

It adds further detail.

COULDN’T EZEKIEL’S TEMPLE SIMPLY BE THE NEXT TEMPLE?

Possibly, if the settings were the same.

But they are not.

The sanctuary associated with Daniel exists amid:

Sacrifice.
Desecration.
Unprecedented trouble.
Jerusalem under assault.

Ezekiel’s Temple exists after restoration, in a reordered land, with tribal allotments, a supernatural river flowing from the sanctuary, and YHVY declaring:

“This is the place of My throne… where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever.”
Ezekiel 43:7

Then comes the size problem again:

Present Temple Mount: ~36 acres.
Ezekiel’s enclosure: ~630 acres.

How could it fit?

Perhaps it is not supposed to fit today’s Jerusalem.
Zechariah says that when Messiah comes:
“The Mount of Olives shall be split in two.”
Zechariah 14:4

And:

“All the land shall be turned into a plain… Jerusalem shall be raised up.”
Zechariah 14:10

Ezekiel’s Temple belongs to a transformed Jerusalem after Messiah returns.

DOESN’T THE CROSS END TEMPLE SACRIFICES FOREVER?

This is probably the strongest Christian objection.

Hebrews is unmistakable:

“We have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:10

Christ’s sacrifice cannot be repeated or supplemented.

Yet Ezekiel 40–48 unmistakably describes sacrifices.

Therefore those sacrifices cannot provide eternal redemption.

Whatever ceremonial function they serve in Messiah’s kingdom, they cannot compete with Calvary.

Hebrews must mean exactly what Hebrews says.
And Ezekiel must mean exactly what Ezekiel says.

THE PROPHETIC SEQUENCE

Second Temple destroyed

Abomination of desolation

And eventually comes the New Jerusalem:

“I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.”
Revelation 21:22

So will there be a Third and Fourth Jewish Temple?

If these prophetic texts retain their ordinary historical, geographical, and national meaning, the sequence is remarkably coherent:

A Temple before Messiah returns.

A vastly different Temple after He returns.

“And YHVY shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be, ‘YHVY is one,’ and His name one.”
Zechariah 14:9

🎵The song Koreans are singing to IDF soldiers in this video is called "A Very Long Time Ago" (아주 먼 옛날), one of Korea's most well-known blessing songs. It actually started out as a Christian worship song, but its lyrics are so beautiful and the melody so simple that it's become a song almost anyone can sing comfortably — these days, it's even known as Korea's "national blessing song."

🇰🇷🇮🇱When Koreans see IDF soldiers, many of them think of their own brothers and sons currently serving back home. Israel, like Korea, has mandatory military service, and that shared experience gives Koreans a real sense of kinship with IDF soldiers.

This song carries exactly that kind of sentiment. In fact, at morale-boosting shows for Korean troops, when a band sings it, soldiers in the crowd join in at the top of their lungs, cheering each other on.

The chorus goes:

"I love you, I bless you,
We give our love to your heart." 🫂❤️

By sharing a song that means so much to them, Koreans are expressing real love, blessing, and support for Israel's soldiers.

Yom Kippur begins Sun. Evening. In Temple times, on Yom Kippur, it is the one day per year the high priest of Israel went into the holy of holies. No one else ever went in there. He sprinkled blood upon the ark of the covenant, then he came out and sprinkled it on the altar. He thereby made atonement for himself and for the people.

Leviticus 17:11 says that there is “blood upon the altar to make an atonement for your soul.” The entire Torah system is set up according to the key principle that blood upon the altar is necessary to atone for sin, just as also stated in the New Covenant, Hebrews 9:22: “Without the shedding of blood there is no remission from sin.”

So, here is the problem:

How can we have a Yom Kippur/ Day of atonement without an atonement? After the Temple was destroyed in 70 CE the Yom Kippur atonement can’t be done. Some ultra-orthodox Jews, slay a chicken and swing it around splattering the chicken blood and some even flog themselves, but this is a ridiculous farce and rarely done by any but fanatics on the extreme fringe. In the mainstream, post-Temple Rabbinic Judaism’s answer is: Teshuvah, Tefillah, Tzedakah (repentance, prayer, and charity). These things are important and do help people to draw near to God. Fasting also is done. Fine. I personally do all those things. But I know it’s not enough. There is no remission from sin without the blood atonement. That’s Torah 101. And we don’t have the atonement…or do we?

Many Jewish people like me who realize this problem have come to understand why, just before the Temple was destroyed by the Romans, the son of God came down from heaven to lay down His life as the sacrifice Lamb 🐑 , slain for the sin of the world. God loves the world that much, that He personally suffered for our sins, so that by believing on Him we will not perish, but have eternal life.

Interestingly, many believers from among the Gentiles also find inspiration in celebrating Yom Kippur together with messianic Jews in a messianic synagogue setting. It’s not for everyone and I’m not suggesting it’s required or anything like that. But it’s a beautiful thing. And powerful. Jew and non-Jew one in Messiah through the atonement He made as the Kohen Gadol (High Priest) of a New Covenant in His own blood 🩸 . I guarantee you this is what the first Congregations in the day of the Jewish apostles, before there was any institutionalized Christianity, first looked like.

Yeshua is the Messiah, the Redeemer of Israel and of Mankind. Shalom.
