Sounds like lack of financial controls to me. 4 years to launch, and 10 years of losses and still not profitable. Terrible company.

If EOS M8K or an SLM NXG 600 costs $3.5m to $6m for job shops to sell you a printed part and they can make theirs inhouse for <$1m, that becomes a competitive advantage. If you don't have to worry about Nikons or AMCM's profit margins, you can provide parts for cheap.
