First I ever read of the Mars ships was in Jess Smith's book, Way of the Wanderers. "The Cruelty" loom large in Gypsy Traveller memoirs

It's been a good week for Gypsy/Traveller visibility in museums in Scotland. @CPKMuseums new Perth Traveller voices can be heard in a display on pearl fishing created by Travellers, while @HighlandFolk Museum, John and Eddie Macdonald put up the museum's new bow tent.

On PM of 2/3 August 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau's 'Gypsy Family Camp' was liquidated.
4,200-4,300 Roma/Sinti were murdered.
