Please read Godfrey and Timothy's story on the WFOT website. Both received the International Development Award and are doing brilliant things. We hope they are as proud of themselves as we are of them!

So in 2025 I’m zipping up by boots and going back to my roots! Starting my PhD @QMUniversity Edinburgh in Jan. A massive thank you to @ElizabethCasso1 for their support with doctoral award funding. Chuffed to start using this hashtag #phdlife@Symbolic_Life @DuncsOT @SusanOTuk
We are recruiting x2 Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join our Integrated Mental Health Teams at HMP Liverpool and HMP Altcourse @Mersey_Care. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in service development work. Please get in touch for more information. See link below…
@SophieJSmith3@OT_charlotted@Maggie_OT@SSHINE_Students@theRCOT@otwg_gcu@WAHT_OT @HWAHPFaculty Remember how badly you wanted to be an occupational therapist and how excited you were when you got that letter telling you had a place at university. I promise it has all been worth it and in 20 yrs time it’ll still be a privilege to call yourself an occupational therapist
A call to #actuallyautistic therapists - especially UK based AHPs. Do you know of any studies into the experiences of autistic therapists (of any type) and what they bring to the table? I’ve been a few blog posts but no research. There must be some research in progress somewhere?
I did not want @theRCOT to destroy my donated MPhil & PhD theses. They have returned them. Feeling sad re my legacy/contribution to research in our profession: was 1st OT in Wales to obtain research degree /worked with others to improve care https://t.co/6IZO6wz7v6.
Calling OTs working in probation or prison settings. An exciting opportunity has come up to sit on a stakeholder group with @rcgp within secure services to represent AHPs. For more info about what’s involved get in touch and keep an eye on our upcoming newsletters.
No better way to celebrate 45 years of OT education at Northumbria than with a brand new programme. A huge welcome to our first cohort of OT degree apprentices and our newest staff member Dr Frank Lai. We are very excited to start your OT journey with you! #northumbriaOT
