@RealJamesWoods Not in the Seabees, but my Dad was a supply officer, USN, stationed at the seaplane base in the Admiralty Islands, June 1944 thru Oct 1945. The base had runways, a large hospital, docks, and ship repair docks-all constructed by the Seabees, a big part of the leapfrog strategy.
