Let me spell this out. It wasn’t the former juror’s wife that called the police. It was his 13 year old nephew. A child. A very very courageous child.

The phone was hung up on after that child said “Please come...my auntie!" 911 operators called back and heard a woman screaming but couldn’t understand what she said.

When the police arrived, the former juror was outside holding his 6 month old baby and he told them “we don't need any help, we are all set” The officer asked him again and he said the same. The wife said “oh, are you sure we don't need help.”

But the police wanted to see the child who called. When they spoke to him, he told them what the former juror did and how he hit his auntie.

They had to get a translator on the phone to understand what was being said in Haitian Creole.

They asked the wife and she told them, through a translator: “ The suspect had the infant in his hand, and the infant would not stop crying. The victim attempted to physically take the infant from the suspect to help stop the crying. After attempting such, a verbal argument began which then the suspect grabbed the victim by the throat
and threw her into a dresser in their bedroom.”

They heard a woman screaming in the house. They wanted to speak to her to ensure she was okay. She was having an anxiety attack When they had what she said translated, she was saying her son — the former juror — was evil.

His wife and mother declined medical treatment. But they arrested the former juror.

Now why do you think a 13 year old child would call the police? Do you really think a child made this up?

Where do I get this information? From the police report. I’m not going to post it because I do not believe in doxxing real names. But it’s been posted by others.

His wife and mother didn’t allow him back into the home. He filed for divorce against his wife. In her response, she stated that he controlled and abused her and the worst incident involved his arrest. The former juror did not deny what she claimed in his pleadings.

He tried to reduce his court ordered child support. The court denied.

The wife was awarded physical custody of the child. Do you know how rare that is in MA?

Yes the wife was afraid to testify at the trial set for 3 months after the arrest. Do you have any idea how common that is in domestic violence cases? Yes the case was then nolle prossed by the prosecution. Without the complaining witness willing to testify, it could not go forward.

Where do I get all this? From the court records. They’re public.

Almost 3 years after his arrest, the former juror beat up the nephew who was then 15. He told the nephew he ruined his life by calling the police and that he had the beating coming for a long time.

That child hand wrote the petition for a restraining order. It’s heartbreaking to see his childish handwriting about his fear.

A police officer testified at the hearing for the permanent restraining order. Yes, it’s civil in MA. But police officers rarely attend. That officer did. He described injuries to the nephew’s eye and his clothes being torn.

There’s a recording of that hearing. The former juror did not challenge the restraining order.

If you’ve seen the former juror’s name on here, you can look all this up yourself. I will not give you his name. But you can find it easily.

I spent 10+ years as a domestic violence advocate working with 800+ survivors. I’m a survivor myself. Hands on a throat is THE biggest predictor of future murder. A child calling the police is intense and means he sensed incredible danger.

Raise money for that child. He’s VERY courageous and the retaliation he suffered is a disgrace.

There are only two real possibilities to the incredibly rapid 180 degree turn that has occurred on AI development in the past couple of days:
