@tedlliott @sagewilyam not on chain, it isn't. You kind of need lightning to "use" it otherwise the chain will shit itself and stop working and charge people insane fees. Even actual settlement on lightning when done frequently will make this happen.

@rleder @sagewilyam It's basically an IOU for bitcoin on another network. It's custodial as well. It defeats the purpose. Plus all I hear is how difficult it is to use lightning so if that's your so-called payment solution for mass adoption that's pretty silly.
