Debate is raging about the safest and most effective tackling techniques after the NRL continued a crackdown on high shots that began in last weekโs Magic Round | @proshenks https://t.co/3NQNph6KVi
Blake Lawrie off with leg injury, concern by video for syndesmosis/MCL injury (hopefully minor) with twist & contact in tackle. Once again variation of the hip drop tackle in practice, nasty technique. Has crept into the game & poses significant risk to knee/ankle of ball carrier
Just proves the referees have no idea what they are looking at. The hip drop Itโs one of the most dangerous positions in the game... and itโs 100% intentional...
Pretty effective throw here leads to a try and neutralises the opposing player...legally. No one seems to notice what just happened ๐

The slowing the play the ball down + 6 again penalty is a lottery. It can have such a huge impact on the game but I donโt think the players know what to do once theyโve made the tackle anymore. Has completely swung this game around.

We are stuck in a generation where most people find their answers online. While that too is a very powerful tool, there are many things in life you just canโt Google. Mental hardening is a perishable skill. Itโs very important that you do things that suck whenever you can!

Seriously, all my mum does is communicate to me this way because she feels like sheโs finally feeling understood.
