Unfortunately you can't have modern features and old texture because as you said, both make for a different feel and experience. Its either you go with a modern or retro feel, not both.

Idk about yall but Minecraft alpha for me has always had a "cozy" vibe for me.. maybe its because I used to watch Minecraft family videos..

of course it's all before.. ya know.. we found out about everything.

But to say it had "completely" lost it is a factually wrong statement.

It mightve lost it but definitely gained a different feel to it, a more modern look similar to real life.

@Zacaryn_ @Providnik1 There have been equal parts "adventurous" aspects to "cutsey" updates. I personally don't think Minecraft has lost any of those two charms.

People yearned for the Aether to be official for YEARS.. now we have a similar looking dimension, people are gonna cry? Yeah sure
