Broken promises by Trump (so far):
1) End the Russia-Ukraine War on Day One
2) End the war in Gaza
3)Lower grocery prices and reduce COL (the reason most voted for him according to polls)
4) Make housing more affordable and lowering mortgage rates to 3% (this is going in the opposite direction)
5) Reduce energy prices by 50% and gas prices to under $2 a gallon (which is why Trump always lies about the $1.98 a gallon which is nowhere true)
6) Make in vitro fertilization free (IVF)
7) Eliminate taxes on tips, SS and o/t (the recent bill didn't really do this, but it applied only to workers making under $25K)
8) Solving the opioid crisis day 1 (this is getting worse, just as Biden made gains last year. Trump is cutting mental health/addiction services which will exacerbate the problem)

@KobeissiLetter The war ends when Putin wants it to. Putin does not want to end tge war. He doesn’t want “just” the current territories he occupies. He wants all of Ukraine, and he thinks he can get it. Putin will do no ceasefire until he’s given what he wants.

@EdKrassen Of course not. Any credible war analyst who knows anything about Putin will say Putin does not want an end to the war. Putin defused all of Trump’s threats to apply secondary sanctions on Russia, and Trunp is too dumb to figure that’s what Putin’s goal was.

Yeah we Democrats are anti war which is why we and many Republicans who actually understand who is the cause of the war, tell Putin to take his war and F off. Even though Trump agrees to surrender, it doesn’t mean the Ukrainians have to listen. Give the Ukrainians all the weapons they need and the war may end sooner.

@CaliCatt76 @1OgOutlaw Voight has a choice: he can move to another state. When the marines/NG was moved in, they mostly protected federal buildings. He mentioned burning flags. I don't like it, but it's legal. He mentioned burning cars, that's illegal, but it is a local law enforcement issue.

@michaelxpettis This is interesting . I did not know that these costs were shifted to households. I guess these costs show up to households via reduced interest payments on deposits through their banks , and even defaults. This encourages cash hoarding among consumers driving down consumption .
