The Lions delivered a commanding performance at home this afternoon to secure a huge 3-1 victory over Letchworth Garden City Eagles in the Isuzu FA Vase First Round Proper! We are into the next round! π¦
Steven Carvell was the undisputed star of the show, delivering an incredible Man of the Match performance with two crucial goals (36', 75'). The other goal came courtesy of Shomari (77'), putting the result beyond doubt!

WE'VE TAKEN THE TOP SPOT! π
The Lions delivered an unbelievable statement with an 8-0 away victory against Romford F.C. on Matchday 16, and the dominant win has seen us shoot right back up to the top of the Essex Senior League table! π₯
Samir Bihmoutine, Rian Patel, Steven Carvell, Shomari Barnwell, Salim Miah, and Talor Gibson all found the net in the rout, capping off a stellar week.
Well done to Shomari who scored on his debut for us too.
And a special mention to Ashaan Siddik for his MOTM performance today.

FT: Basildon United 2-2 Soul Tower Hamlets (A)
NEVER. GIVE. UP. π₯
What a way to snatch a point on the road! π¦
Truth be told, we were very poor for the majority of game, falling into a 2-0 hole with the clock ticking down. It looked like the points were lost.
But the last 10 minutes showed the heart and soul of this team! Sherman Artmeladze struck in the 83rd minute to halve the deficit, setting up a nervy finish, before Nick Bell stepped up in the 90+3rd minute to complete the incredible comeback and secure a dramatic 2-2 draw!
Finally, a HUGE thank you to every single travelling fan who made the trip to Basildon and never stopped believing! We heard you to the very end!
