The Leader of the Opposition is expected to stand up when citizens feel silenced. If people speaking against the powerful are being targeted, this is precisely the moment to speak up, not stay comfortable in silence. A democracy dies not only when power becomes authoritarian, but also when the opposition stops fighting for the people.

A jumping-jack journalist turned politician and now BJP spokesperson, @pradip103, instead of answering legitimate questions, resorts to branding everyone anti-national. That's not debate, that's propaganda.
Last year, when questions were raised in Parliament about casualties and lives lost during Operation Sindoor, the government publicly maintained that there were no casualties. Now, after the names of six fallen soldiers have been officially acknowledged, every Indian deserves answers. Why were these brave soldiers not publicly acknowledged earlier immediately ? Why the delay of that to 1 yr ? Why weren't their sacrifices transparently communicated from the beginning by government ?
Questioning the government is NOT anti-national. It is the foundation of democracy. We elect you to answer us, not to gaslight us, shout us down, or hide behind labels n previous Pms
If you cannot answer the public's questions, then step down. Accountability is your constitutional duty.
And to BJP's loudest narcissistic mouthpiece @pradip103, @Shehzad_Ind and @Sanju_Verma_ .... stop screaming, stop deflecting, stop dragging Nehru and Indira Gandhi into every present-day question. Why does every mega project, redevelopment and major huge contract in Mumbai, Maharashtra seem to benefit Adani & Ambani, while so many capable Maharashtrian entrepreneurs are overlooked.. Why ? Maharashtra has produced industrialists and builders like Baba Kalyani, B.G. Shirke, Vithal Kamat, the Kirloskar Group, Rajendra Mane (Mane Developers) and many others. Why aren't local businesses getting equal opportunities to build Maharashtra?
Mr. @Dev_Fadnavis & @mieknathshinde, are you strengthening Maharashtra's own business ecosystem, or sidelining it? This is a question every Maharashtrian deserves an answer too.
