@ThatYuta Correct. Most Chinese names contain only 2 or 3 syllables, so calling someone only by their given name, especially when their given name is only 1 syllable long, feels somewhat strange. For example, this name 李白, I'm pretty sure the parents would never call their kid 白.
The latest update to @duolingo sucks. I can put up with your stupid heart system, your occasional mistakes, and hell even your frequent ads, but now you're just making it impossible to use by organizing all the units into an endless scrolling nightmare.
@DomDulla@ThatYuta I remember there was a unit where Duolingo repeatedly gave me this sentence: 私はいつも白いパンツを履きます。This sentence has since stuck in my head. Thanks Duolingo.
