Hey everyone, I’m sharing this on behalf of a friend who got scammed, and I’m helping him put this out so others don’t fall into the same trap.

Please stay sharp out here because scammers are getting more organized, more convincing, and they know exactly how to manipulate communities with “utility” promises and fake trust. Always DYOR, track wallets when you can, and never ignore red flags.

Watching $600k in market cap evaporate down to a measly $85k is a pain you don’t forget. For a long time, I tried to convince myself that Hedge Coin ($HEDGE) was just a victim of a bad market. I wanted to believe in the "utility" Dan Priotti (@UncleDan1977) kept promising us. But after digging into the code and the man behind it, I realized I wasn’t an investor I was a victim of a career criminal.

This wasn't a failure; it was an extraction. Here is what I’ve found.

The Betrayal on the Blockchain:
While Dan was in our private Telegram, looking us in the eye (virtually) and telling us to "hold" and "trust the process," his hands were on the "sell" button.

The blockchain provides a level of honesty that Dan doesn't. I have spent weeks tracking the wallet clusters, and the evidence is sickening. 95% of the sell volume that crushed our bags came from a single group of wallets tied directly to the $HEDGE deployer. He didn't even have the respect for us to use a mixer or hide his trail. He dumped directly into the liquidity pool from his primary accounts, treating the community like his personal ATM.

A Pattern of Predatory Behavior:
I used to think he was just a "bad dev," but the truth is much darker. Dan Priotti has a documented history of violence and domestic battery.

In May 2022, while already out on bond for a felony, he was arrested for brutally assaulting a woman and trapping her on his property. This wasn't a one-time mistake; it’s his third battery-related arrest. He has even been banned from City Hall because the staff felt physically threatened by him.
When a man shows you he is a violent predator in his personal life, he will treat his investors with the same lack of empathy. To him, we weren't a community we were objects to be manipulated and discarded.

The Walls are Closing In:
If Dan thinks he can hide behind a screen, he’s mistaken. He is currently on five years of felony probation, which means he is under a microscope.

Federal authorities have been notified of the financial irregularities and the fraudulent statements used to lure us into $HEDGE. Between the potential for Securities Fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1348) and a direct violation of his probation, the clock is ticking.
