@riceandi @hootiefest @NikonUSA I personally have seen zero differences using F mount lenses with the Z system via the FTZ. Optical performance is identical to me, as it should be as there is nothing to affect image quality. The FTZ adapter is great to bridge using your existing lenses on Z bodies.
