@TafferKing451 Im not gonna lie, it sounds like youre spiraling really hard about your game and getting lost in the details. You probably need a break to clear your head or someone to talk to who isnt on the dev team or in the community or youre going to sand down everything in your game.
@TafferKing451 I can only imagine how difficult it must be to think clearly and outside of the genre-box so you can realize your project's vision when your publisher really likes to tote the genre name as a badge of quality. NewBlood kinda seems like a stressful gig behind the charming curtains
@TafferKing451 You seem stressed out about genre and the work it takes to fit a mold. Your game will always be exactly what you want it to be. Labels are shorthand and thats why they often fail us. Your vision will speak, not the tags. I see your inspirations, but you listen too closely to them
@Plasma_Legion And while I'm complaining my biggest gripe with the remake is how it bottles and serves the original game's moments. The originals large bass is HUGE but in remake there's just this one big fish for a quest. And same thing with the golden egg, remake TELLS you to find and sell it
@RobinPoedev@MiffedScientist Personally, I consider humans as well as anything else an instrument of the world through which it makes art. Whenever the world inspires me to make, thats me and the world making art together :)
@TafferKing451 Ok but you should totally do this as well as a fancy pillow you can land on. Just stealing rich peoples upholstery for go go gadget reasons
@HuntShowdown The increased player density in the map is really cool, but i feel like the match flow would benefit from more varied activities, so that this larger population doesnt get funneled together to quickly destroy itself or overwhelm the single activity
the Longevity of RPG as a term relies on you not remembering that it stands for ROLE PLAYING GAME, because apparently im fucking insane for thinking that part was important. NO nonono. its really just about a numbers that say STR/DEX/INT/VIG and go up sometimes
@caydeplanet Sometimes people even unfairly doubt what you create as meaningful art. To defend free creativity we must believe that free expression itself is positive, rather than make arguments for select expressions, otherwise you yourself will always have to justify your craft to people
