I've seen a lot of talk this week that the AI topic has suddenly shifted, become "COVID 2.0," turned into a PSYOP.

So, here's Chase Hughes (again) on the FATE Model for detecting a PSYOP.

Does the new(ish) push on the AI narrative do the following?

1. Focus your attention on the subject with lots of media coverage and repetition?

2. Leverage Authority by highlighting "expert" opinions, especially experts whose expertise is not in this specific domain?

3. Make it a Tribe issue that becomes Blue Team vs Red Team, or America vs Some Other Country?

4. Appeal to Emotion by warning of inevitable doom and danger?

I can think of some specific examples in the past week where at least a one or two of those four categories has been activated.
