@Pistons__Talk Not sure why they would want Duren. They already have Queen, pairing him with a non-shooting big seems silly.
Now if Murphy is packaged with Zion, then maybe the pelicans take back more picks and less players
@KuKhahil Based on talent and contract, he’s their best trade piece. The sticking point is intangibles. If Stew is really vital to the identity of the team and the culture in the locker room, moving him might not be possible. Detroit might just value him more than another team would
@KuKhahil I would consider putting ausar in this trade. But I need to keep 2 of those picks. Not sure if trading for OKC’s salary crunch is the right move for Detroit either
@KuKhahil Here’s where I’m at: I think the pistons would have been competitive with the Knicks. Didn’t get there bc of youth. They clearly need more shooting. But giving up on a lottery pick when he’s 20 isn’t the way forward. I’d rather move some future picks and see what holland does
@JimCosta_ It stinks. Pistons would have been competitive with the Knicks. But the same logic that applies to the spurs applies to the pistons. Cade is only getting better. The core has tons of room to improve. They should add pieces that make them better. Wasn’t their best or last shot
@JimCosta_ Yzerman wins if the plan all along was to trade Larkin this summer. Now it’s bc Larkin asked out and not bc the team gave up on him.
Doubt that’s really true though
@VandyonTigers@moontes13 They paid mcgonigle to avoid the issues they are currently having with Skubal. Greene and Dingler were always going to get paid market value based on their performance, mcgonigle’s deal doesn’t really change that.
