wait, @posthog just found a bug in my own game i didn't know existed: sign-ups had been silently broken for 5 days.
it noticed from the data, diagnosed the exact cause, and opened the fix as a PR. i didn't even ask it to look. wtf.

I no longer know how to estimate work. The distance between "the agent one-shots it" and "I lose a day untangling what it produced" is now wider than the task itself.
fun fact: github won't run pull_request workflows on a PR that has a merge conflict. they don't fail - they just never run, and nothing in the UI tells you why
last night @posthog code built a full combat system into my multiplayer game: health bars, death, respawn, and throwing objects as ranged weapons.
the first ranged weapon it gave me was a hedgehog π¦ you throw the hedgehog. i did not ask for this and i will not be changing it.

multiplayer game stream 3, by the numbers:
- 50 PRs merged across the project
- 1 click-to-move pathfinder, one-shot in ~10 min
- 387 sound files @posthog code downloaded when i asked for "some" audio
- 1 emergent game where viewers trap hedgehogs in boulder pens
- 0 idea what the game is anymore

@spacetimedb@posthog haha already had one for capture π just added flag eval via procedure too - remote eval over ctx.http, returned straight to the caller, no sidecar.
both paths side by side now β€οΈ https://t.co/BRkD1yOaBi
set out to build an MMO. 6.5 hrs later i have a field of hedgehogs wandering around a cave and honestly i'm not mad about it.
this week @posthog code rewrote the backend to @spacetimedb, then added pixel terrain, grid movement, pushable boulders, discord login + the hogs.
what is the game now? unclear. it's great though.
stream 2 of many. round 3 thursday π¦

liked it enough that i shipped an official posthog example for spacetimedb the same week π js + node, all keyed on the spacetimedb identity so events stitch to one person.
the fun puzzle was backend capture - reducers are sandboxed so no network, so i did it with a node sidecar that subscribes to the db. live for your users now:

happy to walk your team through it if it's useful π
tomorrow, 10am PST / 7pm CET: building a multiplayer browser game, live & from scratch, with @posthog code + as much of @posthog π¦ as i can get away with (analytics, flags, error tracking, AI observability). come hang out!
